Ryan-11
it all started about 4 years ago picked up my v looked like thisi was well happy but after about a month oil started blowing out the blow off valve, and a cracked manifold....... gutted, so after looking on the the net got a new manifold and found out its either turbo seals or piston damage.so i found a second hand hybrid ct9 and snaped it up straight away, put it on along with my new manifold, took it for a spin, had a look under the bonnet and guess what........... OIL!!!!!so made a phone call to toytuning (when they were good) about getting a forged engine built, after agreeing on a price took the engine out and sent it down to toytuning, couple of months later i had a nice new forged engine when the engine was run run is i thought id take to crail for a few blasts down the quarter mile....... bad idea the boost spiked to 2 bar and blew the hybrid turbo oil seals, so on went the standard turbo and started saving for a td04 kit.while saving up for the td04 kit i thought id treat the wheels to a few colours and cut the bumper out a bit more.the td04 kit arrived, got the kit on and took 5 time to try and map the emanage (nightmare) but its now boosting at 1.4/ 1.5 bar this is how the v stands nownext on the list is to put my polished rocker cover and fuel rail on, give the engine bay a good clean and put my bc coilovers on as my trd shocks and springs are knackered.
