addz Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Top work there, and loving the colours Slap an electric oil heater in there Quote
Idrees Posted November 30, 2010 Author Posted November 30, 2010 With the help of an electrical heater, the engine is all rebuilt. I need to order a new cam belt and get the wastegate welded shut on the TD05, then I'll be just waiting on a few more goodies to arrive in the post before getting her fired up! I also have found a location that could be ideal for painting so could have progress on getting the body kit and wheels painted over Christmas! I may also have something different/special in the pipeline for the bonnet! ;) Quote
LukeSR Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Bet you can't wait to fire her up, video of first start up pl0z ;) Quote
Idrees Posted November 30, 2010 Author Posted November 30, 2010 I've had her started before ;) did 15-20 miles in her too (before I stripped the engine again).Yeah I'll get a video this time though Quote
Idrees Posted December 4, 2010 Author Posted December 4, 2010 Just a quick picture from tonight with an ID-Workz Cooling Bonnet trial fitted Quote
Idrees Posted December 4, 2010 Author Posted December 4, 2010 My plans were to have a Carbon Kevlar bonnet made for the Demo car, however I may get a tempted FRP one as I did initially want a colour coded bonnet. I could get myself an FRP one for now and maybe a Carbon one later! Quote
Idrees Posted December 4, 2010 Author Posted December 4, 2010 Damn, I think you've just made me change my mind to CF/Kevlar!Cheers for your efforts, awesome as always! Quote
