Scott-EP Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 I'm 99% sure i'll be there, Trieing to get a Mate to come or it's going to be a Very Lonely 3 and a Half hour drive for me haha! Quote
MikeGlanzaV Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Generally we do 3 runs. The second usually makes the most power with turbo charged cars as the first run heats the exhaust side of the turbo which allows the gases to move quicker for the second run. By the third the engines are a little hotter and produce a little less. Its not an exact science though. If you only want one run we can just do the one if you require.Mike - MM Quote
Idrees Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 I'm going to try and pop down but I'll me in my mums VW! Quote

glanzagee Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 mike can i ask what gear the runs are made in and if you have any traction issue on your rollers? Quote
GAZ@A&G_TUNING Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 would of thought a proper dyno like a DD one should not get no traction problems in 4th unless you got like 1000bhp Quote
glanzagee Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 4th gear ive seen 130-140! at 7800 rpm this should be intresting Quote
GAZ@A&G_TUNING Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 it's not how fast it is mate, it's how fast it take's to get there Quote
lukEp Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 3 runs will be ok, just keep an eye on the water bottle as it was pushing a little out on the trackday, but on the road it's fine so 3 runs shouldn't be a problem.I think you could do with a new rad cap mate couple of quid. Quote
MikeGlanzaV Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Runs are usually carried out in 3rd to be honest. Sometimes we use 4th on cars with 6 gears (we have an Audi RS4 we run in 4th) but mostly 3rd. We wont have any traction issues. Our Seat Leon Cupra demo car runs 353bhp through the front wheels which has had loads of runs on the dyno without traction issues. Quote
GAZ@A&G_TUNING Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 gonna be nice to see what car's make on this dyno compared to a few other dyno's that are out there Quote
