Cheers for the comments guys.

Im really pleased with how it's coming along now. I want it to be perfect for JAE and it's coming close now. The boost is nice and strong now and it holds it all the way through the rev range. Im getting a guage put on fully at some point as well so i can keep an eye on it. I put my foot flat on the greasy wet roads yesterday and it did spin as it hit boost. I expected it to spin more but the tyres held their ground well.

@ Idrees - Painting is on hold at the minute now as i've had to splash out on the new tyres.

@ Streetracer - Im not having anyproblems at all now the HKS actuator is on. If you havn't got one i'd advise you to get one as it has completely solved my boost creeping and fuel cutting. The spring is so much stronger than stock.

@ Liam D - The car has been tracked at a laser tracking place and it looked perfect to me. What tracking machine have you got? I have a small circle of trusted garages were i know people and trust them with my car. I wont go to any old place. Lot of dodgy ones about. I can't remember where you work where is it again?

@ the-dalester - Thats because i sprayed the housing black. Looks much better than the dull grey!!!

My internet should be coming on at the end of this week so i'll add more pictures when it does.

We have this crazy Hunter Alignment system thing, its the same one that Demon Tweeks and Revolution etc.. use. It was like all of the imports and stuff on it, it even has the Starlet Remix on it. :p:(

I work at Hi-Q mate.

@ Streetracer - Still creeping on an actuator. Blimey you do need the F-Con then..

@ Enzo -. Im glad i can bring back some memories for you. There is something about the black SR i just love.

@ Liam D - I don't know what the i went on was but it is driving spot on. I may have to take a trip to see you and your machine if it's that good. I think i can feel a road trip coming along.

Everyday im more and more pleased with how the car is. The chatter is so loud and makes me laugh every time. I drive it to work everyday and im laughing my tits off by the time i get there.

Also the chunkier tyres are a nice addition. Not only do they fill the arches more they are a lot less harsh on the roads. It's still hard but it's more bouncy that banging and crashing along. My back wont feel the pain as much now, which is handy when it's my daily drive.

The week before i swapped mine it ran out of engine oil. Left it and it still ran fine.. The only thing good about my last engine when i took it out was the gearbox. I think it was newer than the rest of the engine as i never had a single problem with it. Never slipped or anything. It still lives on in another car now.

Yeah it's running trouble free and pulling strong. Im so happy with the car right now. I've started to open it up a little bit more now as well. Giving it a bit of a push every now and then. The only thing i want less of is the lag. Then i'll have a permanant grin from ear to ear.

Update

I'd just like to point out that intercooler pipes are fecking annoying. Flying along at high speed on the motorway and it popping off is anything but fun.

Other than that my car is still great!!!

:) only just noticed that Rick!!! I bet your amount of lag is considerably more than mine.

On the topic of the intercooler pipe popping off I had enough the other night and sorted it good and proper. I found a clamp in my garage that is an inch wide and has a 13mm bolt to tighten it up. It has the stregnth of God in it. The pipe has now not moved a millimeter :(.

Now i just need to sort out the exhaust at some point. Crap backbox welded onto the glanza system isn't my idea of mint.

@ Galliano - The SUV idea has been shelved for the minute unfortunately. I'll get it done someday.

Any way as some of you may know i had a little bump. I've spent the whole of yesterday getting it sorted. Firstly i had to take the car to my dads work to get the damaged nut off which took ages. It finally came off and the paintwork on the wheel is in a very bad way. I haven't got any pictures of it but it is fooked. Then as i was standing there nearly crying looking at my wheel my dad's mate next door to his work comes over and says "oooo thats looks bad. You want it fixing?" I say yes but i haven't got the £320 i have been quoted." Then he says " i'll fix the two damaged wheels for £50." :)

Then i see some of his work and he is brilliant :). That is getting done as we speak.

Now the damage to the car is not as bad as i anticipated. I changed the front two shocks for the Glanza ones that i got. These ones.

Old and new.

Now the car is perfect again. The wishbone isn't damaged at all the shock had taken the full force of the kerb. The springs on the front need to settle a bit as they are a little higher but apart from that everything is spot on. :). I have a couple of tiny bits i need doing before JAE so i need to hurry along a little now.
