Liam_D Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 Hey guys, some me your oil catch tank set-ups! Want to fit mine this weekend but unsure of where to put it or what pipe to order etcc.. So show me yours for some inspiration!! ;) Quote
Sparky Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 Would show you mine but its not much inspiration when I am going for a twin breather rocker set up lol Quote
whiteglanzav Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 my awesome catch can just till i get my other rocker painted and another breather put in with an actual catch tank instead of a coke bottle lolol Quote
ForgedV Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 ^ lol thats qualityjust uploading couple of mine onto pb now Quote
ForgedV Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 mines venting to atmosphere underneath the car just need one more bit of hose from the pcv valve into a t-peice and into the catch tank Quote
Russleh Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 Excuse the cable ties thats the only one so far that appears to be plummed in correctly if i remember correctly. @raz - forgive me if im mistakes but both your rocker breathers are connected to a catch tank which has no other breathers on it therefor its not letting any pressure out. again sorry if im wrong as im no expert lol Russell Quote

cazzac2222 Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 I was thinking about plumbing one in the same as ForgedV is going to do Also, ive heard that with no breather, it can add to the wear or crank seals, is this correct?? Quote
ianmcintoshi Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 This method will work fine as long as the pcv has been gutted. Quote

This will pressurise the crankcase which is bad news. Quote
Lukew360 Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 To be honest I think someone that knows/understands these should make a "how to plumb in your catch can" guide! Quote
