Bryan-4E-FTE Posted April 17, 2012 Share Posted April 17, 2012 (edited) Hello everybody!I have a question.I've been working on my glanza and i saw a few stickers on my engine but i have no idea what the stickers mean because i cant find anything on google.maybe some one here may know a awnser?other stickers say : KSS Made in Japan.Many thanks!Bryan. If you ever have the head or sump off, some photos of the bores would be very interesting.x2, doesn't say the bores were oval either. Bryan-4E-FTE Posted May 1, 2012 Author Share Posted May 1, 2012 Why they put sleeves/liners in.Dear Bryan,I would like to reply to your question.There is no over size piston for the engine 4E FTE. So we had to use standard size piston to rebuild it. As the cylinders were worn off, the block was supplied sleeves/liners.We KSS adopted the way, hit the sleeves/liners into the cylinders at first, bored and horned next and made them to maker’s specification.
