Asad
quick q, how are you getting the oil to the turbo? i see no holes tapped into the block and a oil filter relocator......
Rob H@RCH Engineering
with this! the oil feed is taken from the sandwich plate I welded a lump onto the side and drilled and taped it out to take a oil pipe.

Socks
Clever. I cant help but think tho, why not just use a fte oil filter housing...Then I think well why not just use a 4E-FTE engine?Well done for being unique tho dude, loving it
Rob H@RCH Engineering
I could of gone down the FTE path but I been there done that lol I was one of the first to do it!! I have 2 or 3 FTE blocks I could have used and a full engine but I dint want to do that as every one and the grany is at it!! I like to be different so why not! _shaun_
love this only thing am not so keen on is the seats think they need a refurb! dont supose u would let slip what the ecu set up cost you?
Rob H@RCH Engineering
The ECU on its own was just shy of 900 quid I did most of the wiring loom and fitted all the AEM sensors, I also made all the custom bits like the trigger wheel set up and the mountings for the coil packs. To put a price on it with the mapping I think it would be over the 3000 mark for the full set up. It cost me a lot less as I did most of the work involved and I did a lot of hours work for RDT in exchange for his time on my car so I saved a small fortune lol
_shaun_
ahh thats handy when u can do it urself id be fine with wiring but when it comes to fabracating i just dont have the tools to even try. trying to find a good standalone but there appears to be just to many choices
Rob H@RCH Engineering
I went with this one as it was recommended by the the mapper its always a good idea to go with a ECU there familiar with there is ECUs out there that are a lot more straight forward to fit than this one too but it does every thing I needed and a hell of a lot more! Rob H@RCH Engineering
Got a bit more done this week end and today, Welded the silencer into the exhaust also made a jig so I can make different pipes lol that just bolt in, fitted the pacet 13" fan that is a awsome thing compared to the cheep Ebay special it shifts some air lol. I made all custom brackets for mounting the fan on as its front mounted will take picks of them later on as I dint have the camera at hand.I made this today for the idle control valve I am using a FORD one lol It needs to be a 2 wire one unlike the Toyota 3 wire one plus the toyota one was poo lol.TB with stock ICV4mm ALU plate I started withCut out and drilled I made the holes the odd shapes to make them as big as poss and still match the valve and the TBFitted and valve bolted on!Quick polish before I fit it to the car at the week end! Rob H@RCH Engineering
small update! The boss was not happy with the Cusco Diff so I decided that this was the way to go!So I got the spare Gearbox out and had it checked over and a full strip down to make sure every thing was good and yes I got my ££££ out this time lol. once I got it back 3 day turn around! I could not have done it in that time with work, I gave it a good cleaning ready for the new shaft seals coming from Toyota tomora and fitting.
Flaminsam
saw these pics on facebook rob. looking nice and clean!
Rob H@RCH Engineering
Well I best put these on! still got hi boost to sort out once the fuel pump controller comes we can get it mapped and all the other bits set up like the traction control, launch control, anti lag and boost by gear, dont really need the anti lag as the TD05 is hitting full boost under 4000rpm but its there so may as well have it!!!
