Broony Posted August 13, 2012 Share Posted August 13, 2012 (edited) Well ive been on here a while so i think its time i post some pics uo for the car i bought about three weeks ago:How i bought it -TD04L turbo charger (Low mileage unit, covered just 15k when fitted)Japspeed stainless exhaust system with custom welded TD04 flanges & cat bypass,Cusco 3.9kg lightweight flywheel (standard 6.9kg)Exedy 3 paddle racing clutchWEPR cast TD04L manifold with custom externally gated stainless downpipe with waste plumbed back into exhaust (no fumes)Turbosmart 38mm external wastegate255lph fuel pumpKS ROM plug & play Performance ECU (Same as Blitz, Mines etc More aggresive map, runs richer & eliminates restrictions £400+)Large front mount intercooler with pipeworkRelocated induction filterAircon removedCivic dual core slimline radiatorGizzmo boost controller (used as boost gauge, solenoid not fitted)Dump valveD2 Coilovers (Complete with tracking)Powerflex engine/gearbox mounts x3Pillar pod with gauges (shit gauges)AEM air/fuel ratio monitorCobra bucket seat with Bride seat railWhite dials (indiglo doesnt work, suspect faulty driver unit)HID flex Hi/Lo Xenon headlights fitted (running halogens due to MOT, just neads headlight bulbs switching 1/2hr job)Front Cross drilled & grooved discs with yellow stuff pads & braided steel brake linesRear Mintex padsTeam Dynamics Drifz alloy wheels with good tyres all roundSony MP3 CD player & 6x9 speakersKPH - MPH mechanical speed convertorLaguna front splitterNGK Heat range 7 plugsNGK HT leadsAutowatch Cat1 alarm & immobiliser, complete with installation certificate for insurance & 2 fobsSWM Snap off quick release steering wheelElectrically folding mirrorsFirst thing to go were the TD04L Stickers, the piss poor prosport gauges(straight in the bin)Swapped the seat and steering wheel for my Bride Brix and Nardi wheelplummed in the defi gaugesrewired the gizzmo boost controller and moved it in to a better postion now need a replacement centre stereo surrond as the other one had been hacked to bits.plummed in a boost gaugemounted defi's in the pillar pod and AEM wide band and boost gauge on the dash.Fitted a RRFR as it was running lean on boostSold the KS Rom ecu bought EMB which is to be mapped in the next two weeksSold the seat and steering wheel/ bossGave it a wash and a general tidy upnow looks like this:Thinks to do:Change clutch for a more managable one- horrid for town drivingGet it mappedFind replacement interior parts as they have been painted white - god knows why ???Fit new wheelsget it laser alignedchange the gearbox for the lsd i have thats it for now ..... Broony Posted August 14, 2012 Author Share Posted August 14, 2012 Yeah i think so ^^relocated the fuel pressure regulator and fitted some high pressure hose until my braided one arrivesThen found this which sums up the skill of some people lolReplaced that with a proper earth strap.
