RobSR Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Yea I'm not doubting that, I'm saying they knock if the plates aren't bedded in correctly. No one seems to run them in right which is why when people but them used, they complain about the noise. Quote
TurboTobz Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 So what your saying is if ran in correctly they won't make a noise (excuse me if i come across atall as if I'm being narky I don't mean anything by it im just struggling to understand) Quote
RobSR Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 (edited) Yup basically, ive fitted a couple that have been ran in correctly, with the above oil, and no noise what so ever even at low speeds. the noise is the clutch plates 'chattering' together as theyve not been bedded in correctly. Essentially you run them in by doing a load of figure of 8 turns in a car park lol Edited October 2, 2013 by RobSR Quote
TurboTobz Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Fair play, if that's so it's worth noting! Mine came second hand, I liked the vicious noises anyways lol Quote
Broony Posted October 2, 2013 Author Posted October 2, 2013 i can second that^^^ only people in the know understand what your running ;) Quote

Neo95 Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 New Recaro fitted, just need to make a rail for the passenger. The most scary part of fitting this was modding the Bride rail as the Recaros have a low under carrage, but its all sorted and welded up:) These easy to make fit? And are these Evo Recaro's? Quote
Broony Posted December 15, 2013 Author Posted December 15, 2013 These easy to make fit? And are these Evo Recaro's?Yeah if your good with a welder, it's easy to mod the evo rails to fit. Yeah they are evo seats mate Quote

Broony Posted May 7, 2014 Author Posted May 7, 2014 (edited) Well after much debating I've decided to keep the V. Its been plagued with a clutch issue for about 2 month, I only fitted a new orc clutch plate and release bearing in october so i was adamant i could be that!Replaced the slave and master cylinderand HEL braided line as the clutch bite had hit the floor, this improved things but then it went back to how it was hard to engage gear and pedal on the floor. Ordered a new Zep flywheel from RHDjapan and a Competition stage 4 Clutch from Toff Fitted new clutch and flywheel last night upon stripping the box off i found this:FUCKED!!!! So Annoyed as i didn't need a new clutch but i thought id make more money selling the ORC than selling a new zep flywheel for less than I've paid. Anyway driving the car is now like a dream and if not as good as it was. Also fitted poly bushes to my Anti roll bar And a new hose joiner to rid me of the t piece dump valve setup Stripped the rear Car as it stands now Edited May 7, 2014 by Broony Quote
