A mate had one from demon and first time it was fitted he put a rod through the block tial or turbo smarts is where it's at mate

Ran one for a year over 300bhp and 1.5 bar never had a single problem, think I paid £60 brand new

I probably will be changing to a Tial when i get some spare cash though!

I think its luck of the draw tbh, mines was shit, couldn't get it to boost over 1 bar, my mate had one on his civic and it was fine

well im only going to be boosting at .8 bar, no more until i get an ecu or emu (if i do decide to go td04)

Ran the same on at various spring pressures and with an ebc for two years and never had a single issue with it.

You'd be surprised I ran one for a year, the best ones I came across were turbosmart ultra gate 38's you couldn't tell the difference.

i've used many over the years. i can probably think of one or two that have lasted,..but eventually they have given out too. just very recently i came across some fake tials..they look ok in pics..but up close the quality isnt close to the real thing at all.

Like Liam said my old white glanza ran tdo4 set up 219bhp at 1 bar no problem for ages with a zisco wastagate was a no brander

Yes you could be lucky and it will work great but if you unlucky and it fails and it causes the death of your engine then do you think that cheap cost now is worth the cost of your engine in the long run?? Do it properly once.

Pretty sure that was the boost controller that wouldnt hold boost though mate??

Just to bump this up.... Looking for an EWG For my new manifold and unsure what to go for, cant stretch to a tial etc for a while yet so is anybody running a decent one of these off ebay?
