I picked this up the other day for £2500,

It's the first Jap car I've ever had and it is the best car I've driven by far!

Good base to start with mate whats your plans with it? What seats does it have?!

They are seat covers over the standard seats bud, bloke selling it listed it as a rare interior was a discussion about it on here somewhee, good base tho bud, through some specs up

There not seats covers from what i can see mate, there standard starlet seats encased in leather apparently, don't know much about glanzas yet but here are some specs:

Turbosmart boost controller

fuel pressure regulator

short pipe for less turbo lag

30mm koni springs and shocks

ct9 hybrid turbo

apexi turbo gauge

hks ssqv dumpvalve

exedy clutch

Front mounted unercooler

samco hose kit

Thats pretty much all I know about it so far,

Im getting some wing mirrors for it as one of them has no mirror and i need a new bonnet catch as the current catch i have doesn't work,

Im also upgrading the audio equipment in there aswell and am thinking about decatting it aswell, anyone know the gains i will get of it? i would say its running about 160-170bhp

Lights look like they need refurbing. Get some wet and dry on them really fine then polish them with a mop Looks awesome

You will notice a bit of difference when you decat, especially the noise bud. And standard audio is awful always a good to upgrade it =]

It's not much louder is it? i can't hear it at all at the moment and ye im putting vibe speakers all round running on a jbl amp with a vibe sub with built in amp and a new double din alpine stereo.

When i decatted mine it sounded lots louder but then it will vary car to car on your setup and exhaust system

I had a HKS Hi Silent power. Decat made it louder and burble! Can hear the little CT9 spool away now!

I changed the midsection this evening so I'm straight threw sounds the nuts!

My front lowering springs have snapped, i noticed the lad before me put lowering springs with standard shocks on which isnt the best thing to do :L so ive ordered my new lowering springs with upgraded shocks for front and rear

Thanks mate, turbo stopped working at the moment so its been off the road for a week turbo blades are hitting something, it spins but it hits something so am taking it off to see what it is

Fitted the new turbo (stuck with a ct9 again for minimal lag), fitted apex 35mm springs with kyb shocks all round, fitted new japspeed alluminium radiator and had a new water pump installed.

One of the old springs had snapped which is why i decided to get the new springs haha:

Looking at the old radiator im sure you can guess why i bought a new one

My next plans are an oil change, ngk iridium spark plugs, new alternator belt, maybe some new wheels?. I also need to sort the blowing from the manifold that i have aswell.

I'd get the manifold sorted mate, ngk heat range 6 probably and some decent leads (Magnecore I'd go for) if it doesn't already!

My manifold is blowing now though was going down the motorway and there was a bang from the engine bay and the manifold started blowing from then on

I have racetech, apparently there good and its quite new

Just put a new Speedvision stage 2 hybrid turbo on the Glanza running 0.9 bar and have also done an oil change, next plans that will be happening very soon are a jam racing ecu, installing NGK iridium spark plugs and trying to find a blitz decat pipe.

Have now sorted the issue I had with blowing from the manifold, turns out the manifold gasket and manifold to turbo gasket both didn't work at all! :L have now been replaced with oem Toyota gaskets from ID Works and work absolutely spot on!

Here's a few pics of the new turbo compared with the stock CT9.

JAM ECU, Blitz Decat and NGK Iridium spark plugs (Heat Range 7) have now been fitted.

There is a massive improvement in performance from the ECU, there is barely any wheelspin at all and there is a considerately big difference in power aswell, well worth buying one. I thought once i put the decat on it would be a lot louder, but there is barely any difference, its still very quiet which is good, which is what i wanted anyway.

I have also installed some new indigo dials for my dash. They were expensive but they look a lot better, you can control the brightness and change the dial colour from blue to green which is pretty cool aswell .

Nice. I got the same Dials, love them. The green on them looks a bit poo though, I just stick with the blue.
