Socks
TD04 setup... Go with an externally gated setup then boost creep will be a thing of the past...
Lawless
Hmm I was thinking that aswel can it be fueled on a mines ecu ?
Zeldoz
Yeah easily! Do it your LOVE IT. I've recently done the same thing!
daniel_g
Can pick up decent TD04 setups for about about 500-600 quid, i ran my old GT with a Mines and it fuelled it nicely.Personally wouldnt bother with a CT9 setup.
Lawless
ZeldoZ how much your setup set you back mate out of curiosity ?
Chris_GlanzaV98
Another one for tdo4 If the turbo ever let go easy to pick up another for not alot of money
Phil
Another vote for td04, though you wont know if the Mines will be safe on the td04 until you try it. Phil
Zeldoz
Whole kit to put together was around £
Chris Green
Another vote for td04, though you wont know if the Mines will be safe on the td04 until you try it. Phil That seems to be your answer for everything lol. Piston ring failure = fix it, then TD04 Flat battery = new battery, then TD04 lol
Lawless
An inconclusive TD04 it is then just need to find a decent second hand kit then(anyone) What will be needed to make sure the mines ecu is running the setup properly ?

You'll need to keep an eye on air/fuel ratio, but keep in mind that a TD04 at 1 bar will be flowing more air than a CT9 at 1 bar.
daniel_g
A wideband is a must ^^ What boost do you want to run at ?
Phil
That seems to be your answer for everything lol. Piston ring failure = fix it, then TD04 Flat battery = new battery, then TD04 lol NA 5efhe build? kick it, then td04. thats just the way things get done got move a few things round first, but you goota be aiming for some power for sure You'll need to keep an eye on air/fuel ratio, but keep in mind that a TD04 at 1 bar will be flowing more air than a CT9 at 1 bar. yup and AFR and some det cans will tell you what the mines is getting up to, but wont allow you to change anything. and then well, if its behaving badly you can flog it for 500quid to the next mug Phil Edited December 18, 2013 by Philm

Lawless
A wideband is a must ^^ What boost do you want to run at ?[/quoteI'm not planning on going over a bar as I only have standard internals ATM so to start with probably only .8See how it behaves then maybe up to a bar mate Just don't no if I should just get tod of the mines and change ecu aswel but I'm on a pretty tite budget

daniel_g
A Mines will fuel a TD04 @ 0.8 bar, its always advisable to get the fueling checked on a dyno or buy a wideband and keep an eye on fueling yourself.P&Ps are ok imo but you could sell it for 500ish and get an EMB + mapping for around the same.
