sooo finally figured it out why i had so much camber on my first set the holes arnt on a central line to the shock as they are on a starlet there is 2.5 to 3mm diference in it !!!!!! to top and bottom holes , so wont make that mistake again !!!!

if you do it like this camber will be almost like stock +-1 depending how good you measure

my 143£ polo setup just arrived by the looks of things them rears are able to go a lot lower then my mk1 golf coils will update in a few days about the diferences

Polo 6n2 coils go around 2-3inches lower then golf ones as there shorter

have a smal isseu at he m0ment car isnt sitting level but springs are set at same height !!!!!! have to see if i can level it out a bit

would it matter if 1 spring is tighter then the other ?????? to get the car level ???

setting the springs level isnt right theres more load on the front than rear so just do it so arch gap is level. Remember they will settle over few weeks as well.

Once setteled go get your alingment done

measured the front coils for stock camber did a bit of a miss calculation on the previous 1s :(

i then made a metal template for the holes

now using my template i dont need to dos around trying to align the holes and makes the job so much faster + i will have the template for future coils to :) :)

the pic above is the front coils mathew :)

al you do to them is do the holes on the bottom thats it !!! stock topmounts just bolt right on with no messing or modding

tomorow i am making brackets ( bolt on ) for the brake lines ( no welding this time )

bumpstops just cut in half thats al will take pic of that to there like 3 inches big i think my rears are bottoming out on them

yeah just read your thread on gtt

polo coilovers are cheap but they dont have the screw off bits do they?

so just trim the bottoms of the coilovers on rear to make them thinner?

drill bottom hole on the fronts

bolt on top mounts

away you go?

thats basicly it mathew :)

and yes polos are solids with no screw of bits

thats only ta tecnix golf2 front and mk1 golf rears that they screw off

i think aaaal pol are solid units thats why im updating this thread :)
