Jolting at high speed

Hi I've got a fully forged 5e running 290bhp

I went down my private road the other day and when I got to about 130mph the car jolted like I had put the brakes on and wouldn't go any faster anyone know why it is doing this

Speed cut maybe ?

What management are you running ? And does the car count up in MPH or KPH ?

I'm running emanage ultimate, and I think it counts in kph but the dials read in mph

Chances are it still has the factory speed limiter of 180kph. Im not sure if the ultimate takes it off i know the blue doesnt. If you get a HKS SLD and wire that in that will get rid of the speed cut. Or if you get a speedo converter it moves the speed cut limit up to 180mph.

Just a hunch but check your engine and gearbox mounts probably not this but I would check them anyways sounds like speedcut to me having another read

There was a SLD for sale on facebook for £25, i got one the other day for £50, just make sure you get the right version.

4ages use version 1 but not sure what the 4efte uses

Nah the blue doesnt, most folk run speedo converters so it doesnt really matter.

I run Emanage blue and I have KPH clocks.. Did a top speed run on the dyno at uni the other day.. Did like 147mph iirc?

Yhh I've checked my emanage and speed limiter is disabled, tried it again the other day and still does the same just stops boosting when I get to about 130mph and slows down

E manage ultimate does remove speed cut can't rember from memory what tab it is in in the software

When I take it to be mapped again I'll get him to have a loon at it, and Yhh I had a flick through the tabs when setting up my launch control and found it it's definitely disabled
