leemillin
Yesterday I had my tracking done to hopefully sort out why my car pulls to the left and right. Tracking is all good but still pulls, sometimes to the left, sometimes to the right. Hopefully someone can help
Gainzy
Tyres all balanced and at good level pressure's? Check all the bushes underneath
_shaun_
just generally pulls or when your giving it some beans or braking? have you polybushed anything? since i polybushed everything on the car it likes to follow white lines and small holes and what not bit of a pain but good on smooth roads. daniel_g
Does it physically pull the car violently in, or does it just kinda drift in following the camber of the road ?

mccartney11
Sounds like wishbone bushings
leemillin
Is there anyway I can get this checked as I don't want to go and get new parts and that's not the problem
Ryan_EP82 GT
Check all the wishbone rubbers for obvious tears or rips. Get a pry bar in there and make the wishbones work see if you can spot any play
leemillin
i had it all checked on monday and sais it was just the tracking out alittle, got it back and i could tell the differents but still pulls. never had this problem before

Rob H@RCH Engineering
What are the engine/ gear box mounts like? because they can cause this problem too! Especially when giving it some boot.
morgey
What are the engine/ gear box mounts like? because they can cause this problem too! Especially when giving it some boot. This is my next port of call.I've got the same problem as you, steering yanks left or right. Either from a standing start or a heavy boot of the right foot even in 4th or 5th at motorway speeds. Im changing all my steering parts, pòly bushing everything thats not, alignment done, poly engine mounts. Then if its still doing it the cars getting scrapped lol
Rob H@RCH Engineering
I did some for a mate last year, every time he gave it some boot it was pulling into the middle of the road violently, the bushes where boloxed put pollys in and it was spot on!
morgey
I've pulled all the joints off the hubs ready to replace them and so far theyve all been tight but im doing them regardless. The inner tie bars are even still tight and hold themselfs up if moved. All it really leaves is rack, column then its mounts and diff. I've enquired about some polyurethane so just waiting for a price

rwdrev
mine pulls violently sine i put the 5e and manual steering in. tryed a 2nd rack as the first must of been bent, and its horrible/ unsafe to drive. it knocks hard on lock when pulling out of junctions and snatches the steering, torque steers right on acceleration, and dives for the hedge on the left when lifting off. only thing im thinking on is the diff (trd lsd) is on its last legs
Ryan_EP82 GT
whats the caster settings of the wheels?my pas wheel has 0deg and my drivers side has 1deg positive, so while the drivers wheel tries to self-centre the pas wheel stays upright and straight, pulling it to the left pretty strongly when i let go of the wheel (which doesnt happen often obviously) but its very noticeable.
