Cattanach Posted February 25, 2016 Author Share Posted February 25, 2016 Right so after a few hours of swearing and scraped knuckles managed to get the ct12 on!Proud considering nobody was around to help and it's not something I've done before haha!Only thing holding up it being completed is the oil feed line from the ct9 is too short so I'm awaiting a braided one from race-tech!Will be running it on the standard ct9 actuator and standard tmic for now until it's through its mot next week! Cattanach Posted March 5, 2016 Author Share Posted March 5, 2016 So this finally arrived with 3 days to spare...Oooooh Shiny Got the car all back together before priming the turbo and a coolant change!Then took her out to see what the Ct12 could do!Goes well even at stock boost! A lot different to the ct9 and I'm eager to see what it can do with the boost raised a little higher! But all in good time Old fecked ct9! Cattanach Posted May 26, 2016 Author Share Posted May 26, 2016 (edited) Been a little bored lately and had a leak from cam cover gasket so ordered new gasket kit and painted up a spare rocker cover I had!Went for VHT Wrinkle black Also bought some Jap goodies Blitz Hot pipe and Blitz Decat, also got an Arc Tmic on the way!On the hunt for a few more rare bits, Especially a toms intake! Cattanach Posted August 10, 2016 Author Share Posted August 10, 2016 Managed to get the blitz hot pipe, Arc tmic and rocker cover fitted!Looks so much better now!Also painted the tmic bracket in wrinkle black to blend in but it's not fitted in this pic!Been contemplating selling up but managed to convince myself otherwise!Ordered new rear discs,pads and wheel bearings so hopefully they should be here and fitted before end of the month.Hopefully get this list of things sorted before end of the year:Rear wheel bearing/disc/pads New rear light(condensation in mine due to crack)New exhaust or flexi (blowing at the flexi)Front discs/padsWing/bonnet/front bumper painted Lower arm polybushes Braided brake lines Tyres (getting close to the limit) Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Cattanach Posted August 30, 2016 Author Share Posted August 30, 2016 So decided while the weather was nice to crack on with changing the rear discs,pads and bearings.Nothing special just some Oem discs and ebc ultimax pads!Freshhh....Tadaaa lolAlso bought a custom axle back backbox with 3" tailpipe to quieten down the exhaust... Fitted it but I don't like! Annoying as the japspeed is too loud for my liking!So I'll swap that back over!Needs a service so will be doing that in next few weeks along with cleaning and re underselling the arches and sills! Got a Wepr power up kit to fit so going to get the turbo off this weekend and get the wastegate welded shut! Hopefully clean and re-underseal the sills while I'm there! Old crappy eBay downpipe had a big crack in it aswell as was blowing from the join to the exhaust!Fmic I bought months ago wasn't going to fit without a good big of modification so had to throw on the arc tmic and not going to lie I like it!Not taken her out yet as need to order the bits for the intake as the relocation kit I had on is now too big to fit in.Mismatch of colours going on haha but it's temperary don't worry! Cattanach Posted April 2, 2017 Author Share Posted April 2, 2017 Managed to pick up some new wheels for cheapish as the advans needed new tyres and 2 need refurbished ideally!15x6.5 Rota MSR'sPaintwork is starting to get more and more tired with one front wing being pretty bad! So weighing up my options! Full respray is out the question due to cost but may look at short term options like Matt/satin colours but I'll worry about that in a few months time.Car also passed it's mot first time with just advisories for the front tyres (advans), oil leak and condensation in the rear light.
