dan106
So, been working on this some more... Yesterday i fitted my d2 rear coilies Then i went and removed a set of ISC coilovers from my mate matts old gls and fitted my lowering srings and shocks on his. This morning, at half 9 in the goddamn rain, i swapped my teins out for the isc ones. And this is how it sits Still needs fine tuning but it looks a shit ton better! Also fitted some of them washers and bolts in neo chrome to smarten up the bay abit Can anyone tell me what sized silicone reducer hose i need to buy to get rid of this horrible bodged shite on the dv? Youll also noticed the bolts that snapped when i tried to remove them, rusty shite!

dan106
Got a few repair jobs done today, wired the boost gauge in properly, wired the sub remote cable properly, finally sorted the rattle from the drivers door out, put screws in the heater controls as it was missing 2 out of 3 so it keep falling into the dash and I cleaned it, while it was raining. Also fitted a splitter yesterday Also ordered my decat, a new reducer in black to replace the bodged blue crap on the dump valve, new bushes for the gear linkages and some black and purple vacuum hose because I hate the blue! New ride height suits it perfectly too crazy bike can exhaust hahahaIt so much better, gotta sort out some slight scrubbing issues, and yeah gotta get my mate to extend the exhaust then I'll be changing the back box

dan106
Another weekend and some more bits done! This weekend the focus was on the exhaust, got the toyosports decat fitted and got the japspeed rear section extended, is it really neccessary to have a 3inch exhaust on a starlet? Its virtually impossible to have it without it knocking on anything! Apologies for the snapchat screenshots but i forgot to take actual pictures. And the back box is past the rear bumper finally! Little shot from a few weeks ago at a local cruise And some more 'Just cleaned my car' pics Does look good now Cheers man, looks alot better since you saw it aha Looks good. by the way what splitter is that? Cheers its a leon cupra splitter i think Looking good man, I'd put all 4 gt3's on and will look great James I only have two ahaha!
dan106
So today i painted a few bits in the engine bay, finally adjusted the throttle cable and bypassed the hi-lo boost button and got rid of the metal pipes All the blue crap is gone, just gotta decide between black hoses and purple ones. And if you didnt see my other thread, someone scraped up my bumper and wing yesterday How it looked after a t cut, added to the ever growing list of things to get painted that i cant afford... dan106
Not much has happened recently, been saving up to pay the car off aha! Since removing the hi lo boost button i have been having alot of trouble with creep and therefore fuel, i have bought an adjustable actuator to hopefully remedy this, will get fitted along with my half rad when the aircon gets pulled out of it. What i have got done, found the boss kit out of my n/a so I put my steering wheel straight in A And finally got rid of that disgusting 4 inch japspeed fart cannon, and replaced it with the bike can ive had for about a year aha! Looks so much better, sounds surprisingly so much different and so much better! And actually reduced the boost creep until 4th and 5th. Last pic while i just went for a drive After giving it a good drive and cooking the brakes im not so sure how much i like the ebc stuff, will be looking into brake upgrades soon! Amjad
What pads were you running?
dan106
Green stuff pads with ebc drilled and grooved discs, cooked them in my n/a before, wondering whether it's the fluid or the actual brakes now though Spent a few hours cleaning it today, nice coat of wax on it now, and got bird shit on as soon as I drove it gah!Brasso'd the exhaust properly cleaned the wheels, you can't really see how shiny it is in the pics but it does look a lot better, still need to get my mate to detail it mindAnd I think it'll be getting the roof wrapped gloss black soonWhat do you guys reckon? Gainzy
Mehh ad leave the roof silver looks super smart this we all know your not sitting low enough if you can get to the top of multi story carparks haha take those bonnet raisers out imo flush as fook great work man!
Amjad
Looking good, keep the roof silver. Try a fluid change first, Motul 600/660, cheap yet one of the best. Greens are pants, try yellow. Got them in mine with GT4s.
morgey
Agree with fluid change first, its usually overlooked. Saying that ebc's arent that great imo, I've got yellows and theyre very inconsistent. When they work theyre great but every so often they dont seem to bite properly. Id opt for some mintex or ferrodo ds2500's personally, had much better experience with them.
