Whitenoize
That's got to hurt.. I personally wouldn't run any sort harness without a full cage and harness bar bucket seats etc people only run harness for scene points and it's really not worth it seat belts are good enough

Phil
aye always wondered if the belt material could really be much weaker as stock is was over engineered, but its the actual fixings that fail in that video, and only at 50mph. Phil
Gainzy
They don't even use any of the fakes in the test video..
TimD
Didn't even realise folks were making fake Sparco and Sabelt stuff, just goes to show that buying second hand safety equipment is a pretty dangerous game!
Phil
They don't even use any of the fakes in the test video..Tell us more I'm lostPhil
morgey
Theres some branding on the one in the test video but theres no way you can make it out
daniel_g
75% of Driftworks members are basically dead in that case! Scary shit Think a lot of us are guilty of not doing it properly.
WallaceGlanza
The fake sabelt ones can be bought for a tenner from China-must be high quality materials used! the video says it's a "sparco" one on test.
daniel_g
Alibaba spwecials.
Gainzy
Tell us more I'm lostPhilTo get the point across better they should have used all the fake belts they were stating don't you think? Never seen bright orange belt like that takata etc..
Ollieh17
Why? Fake harness is a fake harness doesn't matter what the name is, thats the point they are trying to get across
Gainzy
But why not use the takata ebay snide there saying not to buy it would make more sense we all know buying shite is dangerous they should show the snides in action.
Ollieh17
So like stop smoking adverts showing every brand of cigarette that is harmful?..........
Broony
So like stop smoking adverts showing every brand of cigarette that is harmful?.......... Are you for real?? Gainsy is clearly stating fakes are fakes, but a better video would of been, clearly showing the fakes in action failing. This would then put to bed any doubts some little fucker has about "ooooh i might still be safe as its not the fake brand that was used" There is no question fakes are shite and don't go through rigorous R+D to ensure they are safe hence why they are cheap. Start reading what people are saying before commenting
Ollieh17
It says the harness under test was a counterfit sparco. You can't expect them to prove every fake is shit.
Broony
It says the harness under test was a counterfit sparco. You can't expect them to prove every fake is shit. No one is saying test them all. It might say counterfeit sparco under test. But they are making a point about certain products, it would of been much more appropriate to test those products in question in the article, rather than post some weak linked testing video, which yeah might well be sparco but certainly don't look like the ones in the article? Is that not what Marc was suggesting??
