Thanks guys, yep quite a tight fit, the chassis had to be cut quite a bit, but he has some metal planks hes going to put in to more than make up for the strength in the chassis. Yer i hope so too phil lol, but he seems to have done an excellent job so far. If only he could work on it full time it would've been finished already ;) Good to know this project has inspired ya sparxx . This project was alota hassle tho, much more than if i were to get the 4efte, but thats the price you pay for being different. But if you do go through with this conversion i'll try my best to assist you in it. More updates to come next weekend as the engine bay get tidied up.

Hey guys, after coming back from Hong Kong i hear that my mechanic also went away, but to egypt instead.. he came back earlier than me and caught the illness that was going around the uk, something about fluids coming out of both ends.. (throwing up and having diarrhea), nice and pleasant, but the point is less work was done to my car than planned but i think its still going well. Here are some pics of some of the work so far. Still needs to slice bits off for extra room even tho there is JUST enough room after the initial slicing. As you can see, the pulleys for the belts are close to the side. Thats after cutting has been done! Final results are still to come, as are more updates and more pics. Any comments are welcome.

Standard starlets are supposed to be 41 mpg. I normally do about 280-300 miles with a full tank tho. I HAVE managed to squeeze out 350!

Ahh, so its still there, i c. Gota have at least one final meet man lol.

Nope, i have a HKS Hi power silncer (meant to be for a turbo glanza... but o well...) I was gona get that, but the realise exhaust is only mild steel. Was looking at the Blitz nur spec aswell... but i was afraid my car would be shaking down the house (litteraly) and i'd be added to the crowd of slow cars with loud exausts... BUT! ... if you put a turbo exhaust onto an n/a car, somthing to do with the compression ratio, it makes your car louder. Even tho mine is a SILENT hi power, its only silent when its idling, but it does sound mean when its not Good luck in finding an exhaust tho. I tried looking on fensport to see what kind of exhausts they listed, but they only have the Blitz realise TT.

My car looks so separated from the rest being the only n/a, but its soo far away you probably won't notice it So whats happened to your GT now Ry? Is it truely done and dusted? i haven't heard much about you lately.. only that you were replacing it with something bigger.

Lol, glad you shared it with us mate. Can i ask, when did you turn on the interior light? because if you went to work, it couldn't have been dark.. and you came out at 5-ish so it would still be light-ish.. Could be an unexplained mystery lol. When i was reading at the beggining i thought you were gona say someone broke into your car... i was like And did you return the battery to halfords then in the end?
