When my starlet was more normal, i was driving the SR at about £600 or so? i think... i WAS with tescos... but i wouldn't recommend them... long story, but to let you know how messed up it was... they managed to put me down as my dad's spouse... There was a small meet organised by shelly not too long ago. It was held at tescos car park in camberley meadows. It was held on January the 29th, this year. But if another local meet is going to be organised, yer i think i'll be up for it. What dates do you have in mind?

Joz - O lol, what do you suggest for a catchy topic title? StarletRick - Yer no worries, i'm not driving it much at all atm, but when i do i try to avoid clouds of dust of just put it into neutral and coast through it so it doesnt suck much in. But yer, i'm getting some filters from a motor bike shop. I've heard they will fit, and they do! Just need to chop the horns or make some tubes for the filters to clamp onto really. I think i've decided to go for the coned shape, instead of the flat topped cylinder or the rectuangular shaped ones.. What do you guys recommend?

Well, alot of people have opted for the best value for money upgrade, which is to try and find a 4EFTE engine from a scrappy or somthing and put that in your car. You can be different, but it will cost ya.. T

Well, got the car back on monday, but i haven't had time to take any pics, i shall do soon. But atm, my engine is a little sratched here and there, so i'll probably be getting the engine sprayed soon or somthing. The engine drives fine and well. The power is GREAT! Lovin' every second of driving it, lets hope the fun doesn't run out over time . Atm tho, i have no rev counter... i have a Pivot tachometer ready to put in, but the two ECU tables i found for the levin both confirmed each other, but also didnt match at half the pins.. I've found out that there are apparently 3-9 different EC

Heres some things that will make your car go faster tho: 1) make your car lighter 2) Increase the power your car has 3) going down hill also does make your car go faster lol, but if you want those kind of answers you can probably add something like 4) lose weight, but that might clash with no.1 But seriously tho, can you be more specific? that way we can help you more.

Wow, you're REALLY proud of the splitter Phil lol. Hey guys, just found a bit of time to update this a little, i'm getting the car back on Tuesday 18th of March. Looking forward to seeing the difference between the two cars. Hope the handling hasn't changed.. this engine is about 20kg heavier than my last engine, but now my added aircon isn't going on the AG... its England... i dont NEED air con! ... and partly because it won't fit... lol. Updates to come when i get it back with a MOT saying 'PASS'

Idd, nice to meet new people and always a pleasure to see the oldies again. we were thinking of going over to the camberley multi storey car park where we had it last time.. but shelly chose tescos first of all because it was easy for everyone to find. Then plans went on to the pub, which was good, shame we didn't decide earlier so more people might have been willing to stay lol. Yer big shoutout to shelly for the organising!

Was nice meeting you all, for those who dont know, i'm the chinese guy with the long black coat TRYING to keep warm I don't think many pics were taken as everyone wasn't keen on standing around in the cold that night. If only the night was warmer the meet would've lasted a bit longer, but it was good to match some names to faces and there will always be plenty of other times to meet up.

Hey guys, I'm looking into some 4 pot calipers with brakes, pads and lines. A contact in japan needs to know whether the glanza brakes can fit onto my n/a starlet sr 1998. Are the Hubs a different size and do they need modifying? or would it be an easy fit? I've looked at a previous post where Blue Icarian Wings said: Would 1998 count as new? or are we talking about like 1999 ones or somthing..? If you could post your comments and oppinions or a link to a previous thread that will inform me, i'd apprieciate it very much. Thanks T
