  4. Fantastic Yup wide spread appeal has to be how attainable the car spec is and how mouth-wateringly unattainable the track in your locality is! Brilliant read and brilliant project Phil
  5. Yup hubs and shafts is easy in one sense. It's getting them sitting at a half reasonable angle that be the trick when your governed by a big lump of an engine/box and you've to get the bonnet closed but the sump off the ground Phil
  6. Orc 309 Blitz active Os giken Or something more modern and more expensive would be better i suppose. There is a hydraulic release bearing system of some sort that was/ is fitted here in n.ireland to big horsepower starlets by eastcoastcustoms but I'm not sure who makes it and if ECC are even trading in starlet parts at all anymore Phil
  7. These are now off the car and ready to be cleaned for a new owner Phil
  8. I think the simple comment was a bitchy comment in nikhils thread. As for me being constantly on your case I've had a quick look back through the few threads we have coincided on over past year and found nothing. I don't even recognise the username. Apologies if this has happened somewhere mate Hope you get whatever your after for the lambda issue. Phil

  10. I'm more than willing to take your word that you haven't been complaining about WEPR unduly and that all complaints have been warranted and in keeping with reality. I'm very happy to hear the truth and sorry to hear of your issue with fitment of the WEPR kit. That's not to norm obviously but I can see why you'd reiterate your issue when someone else finds a similar issue. I think maybe between this thread and the leading query in nikhils thread 'have you fitted it yet' (insinuating that all may not be as rosy if he had) I thought there was a trend. Anyways everybody has different ways of

  13. I like soft 888s on the gt But no use for anything other than what I'm doing Track day would kill a set I'm currently using maxsport rb5 and you can ignore the reviews online that compare them to a good rally tyre, they are night and day better than a road tyre once they get warmed up Phil
  14. You don't need to open the rear casing to remove the diff only If things are smashed it's probably worth swapping the LSD into a good box and fit it Phil
  15. Yeah let me know whatever you find They don't get to sit for more than 40/50min between runs and seem steady in around 30 for most of the day Phil
  16. Fantastic Abbott Always enjoy the updates Phil
  17. Yup its not great but if someone is REALLY in a good position to do a rotor swap or similar it's not something they couldn't sort. I think for a fast road car or drag where handling isn't such an issue I always thought 4agte or more recently maybe the 2zz but both need a gearbox swap as well. K20 would be better in that sense Or a vw 1.8t Anyways as interesting as there threads can be hypothetically- your really going to here of someone share a barely formed idea who will actually be in a position to make it happen. I think that a 1.8t rwd swap could be done as cheaply if you had the skil
