What actually hasppened in '11? Don't think I ever heard the full story
-
Oh hello sailor. And I love the new logo, were the optional Glanza stickers using the same layout? The ones that went on the side of the car. TRD ones perhaps?

Staffers, you do realise you are all getting copious amounts of cider from me next JAE? EDIT: It feels so good to have a sig again :DDDDDD

Due to me finally driving the GT, this has now found a new owner! Hey may be signing up to here, may not, we'll see, but he said he didn't have too many plans, and was just after a reliable runabout. I know his brother, so I'll be able to get updates on it

I'm like a kid in a sweet shop with only 10p "But I want moreeeeee!" Defo going to have to sort creep though, it was loving the cold air a little too much tonight. Will keep it steady going for now, and start looking into CT9 hybrid kits. First on list is new engine mounts though, clunk clunk, drivers side is shagged. After that it'll be coilies, or at the least, spring and strut set up, as the rears atm are fucked.

Oh shit, never knew you were Simon Zeb! Anyway, this can only lead onto better things! I was left quite disgusted by what a certain person had been doing and saying behind it all as many of you staffers were saying at JAE. Good ridiance I say.

Bloody hell, it was panic mode activate yesterday it seems! Glad to see it's all sorted now! And the name 'Flaminsam' could have been apt if it had gotten worse Hello Kitty gearnob sounds hardcore, do ittt. Saw this at JAE, but totally forgot who it belonged too, sorry Don't think I even saw any of you lot. -
Well, after checking every single sensor going and finding they're all fine, as well as trying two sets of leads we know are good, my mate thought he'd whip off the cambelt cover and see what the craic was. It was 3 teeth out Poking around lead us to the tensioner spring being weak as fuck, and we reckon that it must have skipped when I've been getting used to the ORC and accidently let it out too quick when setting off (jerked the engine). Belt looked a bit ratty as well, so new belt and tensioner spring are on the way!

Sefton, look for the grey diagnostic box under the bonnet, either near the rear bulkhead, or next to the fusebox. You need to bridge the connections TE1 and E1. There should be a sticker on the underside of the diagnostic port lid telling you which ones TE1 and E1 are. Once that's done, switch ignition to On, and look for the engine light flashing. If its a steady flash of about 0.2 secs between, then there's no codes. If there is a code, it'll flash indicating the first digit, wait for half a second, then flash the second digit. For example, flash - 0.5 secs - flash flash, would be code 12.

Rob_bower's 242 bhp SR - Refresh and fueling upgrades.

Looks fantastic, hope it's on soon! -
Quick update on the GT. As most of you know, it finally made it to JAE! Unfortunately it developed an erratic idle while it was there. Going from most of the topics and UKSC and on TGTT about what causes it, the most likely culprit seemed to be the air valve solenoid jobby on the end of the inlet manifold. After cleaning it, it still didn't solve it, and it definately wasn't working as we couldn't hear it clicking. Got a new one and fitted, and the same problem was there but not as pronounced, with the valve definately working now (from the sound). Me and my dad believe the car is misfiring n
