That intake manifold looks good, mind i i ask what it is and where its from? -
dibs!
-
do a side exit like a lot of the starlets on here, in front of the front wheels. save the weight and keeps it away from speedbumps!
-
id delete the chrome on it, go for a black that matches the plastic bumpstrips on the sides or something
-
pm'd over manifold

HI all, just had a mini rage at seeing someone on here ask for a glowbadge panel and revive offers for one almost immediately while I've been looking for one forever lol. I've decided to try n scrimp a bit and ask about for a few things ive still got to get together for the big refit I'm carrying out in the near future . i need: A glowbadge panel, ive been after one since i got a starlet years ago lol, gimme! A civic half rad, preferably with hoses/mounts/slimline fan please, or whatever! A complete afr gauge, a good one plz not some chinese crap, im stingy in that I wont buy new if there are cheaper options, but i wont cut corners on quality lol And a td04 mani, preferably not a top dollar job and ill be staying internally gated, but if youve one knocking around make me an offer! ( oh yeah and longshot but I'm also after an mr2 turbo as a second car to leapfrog working on with the starlet, if you have one of those knocking about too! ) Drop me a pm!

Item For Sale: A 'set of 5 or 6 compomotive cx 1358 alloys + a set of Goodyear ncp somethingorothers i don't know the age of if the buyer wants em lol. Item Condition & Description: 3 are used, but with a smidge of kirbing on one or two, one with a large crack and heavy kirbing (i bought these like this i swear :L), 2 spanking new with box to make a set of 5 very usable! i bought these for my old micra as i hoped id be able to find a 4th to replace the knackered one pretty quickly. This didn't happen, and I've had em a few years as an incomplete set until I found a couple of unused alloys still in the box on the bay. I bought these and found that they aren't quite the same as the original 4, which i now reckon are knock offs of some sort, though pretty good ( I had a blacksmith mate of mine have a go at sorting the damaged one, and though he failed it was pretty clearly a seriously tough and light wheel, god knows what happened to it ). they look pretty much identical, offset looks the same and they're all 5.5j's iirc. Idon't know if they'll go over gt brakes and i do know they wont go under my levin kit, so i thought id chuck em on here for peeps rocking N/a or 70 series starlets! of course, the tyres come with em and there is a fourth if the buyer wants it, and ill include the knackered one if the buyer felt they wanted to have it repaired. Price: £130 ono seems fair looking at what complete sets of genuine used compo cx go for on the bay, try me! Pictures: Payment & Shipping Details: collection preferred of course, but i can deal with couriers if the buyer organises.

who pays the fee when using paypal?? seller or buyer??
Chops replied to iamlegend's topic in Lifestyle General
As paypal worm their way out of covering cars or their parts usually, you have no real reason not to just send as a gift. i still get annoyed when people ask me to cover the 4%, cover it yourselves you cheapskates, its usually like 3 quid tops . -
I will own a Glanza this time next year...
Chops replied to Naths_Glanza's topic in Welcome New Owners!
Tremendous fun these starlets, worst part of owning a gt or glanza is that you get endlessly asked if its a micra or a golf with morettes lol. good luck with the purchase and welcome along! -
td04 intercooler piping route/ boost scramble button?
Chops replied to Chops's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
A sadsack bump for answers lol, anyone's opinion welcome -
Hi all, I've been wondering about my next intercooler pipe route here. my current intercooler piping goes right past a pulley that's going round like the clappers a literal millimetre from it. its always worried me to look at it but I've had no scuffing issues so I let it be. the intercooler piping is super skinny to get past it down the gap it does too, and opens right out at the bottom for presumably a lower velocity through the intercooler core itself. I'm fitting a tf035, which was rotated downwards when it was rebuilt to match the intercooler route td04s commonly use and i was wondering if that route can be used with the standard air-con still in situe? id look in my bay and work it out myself but its that time of year that means its dark and raining before i leave work atm. Another question i have that doesn't really warrant a separate thread is whether or not a boost scramble button is particularly effective/noticeable. I've been considering getting one for a long time now and though they're pretty cheesy they sound like a bit of a giggle. I plan to run about 12/13psi with the tf035, would aim to spike it up to 15/16 or so with a B/S button, would I really notice that?
