Looking good mate ;) I can't afford the manifold at the min and the place i originally went to ended up turning their noses up at the car ha ha! Ironically they had fords of a similar age in there Utah were being treated like kings

Well the car is back from paint. Was pretty nervous on the way over to see it but I didn't need to be as he's done an amazing job. You really can't tell it's had paint. It pretty much now looks like it's just rolled off the production line with only the wheels now letting it down. Time to start saving for a refurb! When i first saw a TTE splitter I wasn't keen but they've grown on me and now seeing it on the car in person, I love it. The wing mirrors are also a nice touch- coded to the body colour but we left the plastics to keep things looking original. The work cost me £380 all in for front and rear bumpers, drivers sill scuff, wing mirrors and the splitter painted and fitted perfectly.

Not really, not when you consider a decent set of repros are £45. Just depends if anyone actually wants to fit them as they're probably worth more off the car.

Ah really, I didn't know if they'd push mine engine too far. I don't want to go around copying people, just looking at all different options ie- cost effective and ones that keep under the wife's radar! I really like the idea of staying NA though. Pretty clued up with the turbo stuff but I don't really know much about making a decent itb set up. Can't wait to see the results on this.

Definatly straight mate. Still absolutely love this car :/ These and Celicas don't respond well to being de catted. They get huge boost creep in 3rd. I spent nearly 2k on a full system and had to have a 2.5" restrictor plate fabricated to fit between the downpipe and front pipe. Even when I was running the hybrid turbo I still couldn't remove it (this was all mapped on a motec m4 pro). The only time I could remove it was when the car was fully forged and running a big Garrett.

That's what I'm kind of like with the splitter but it needs to be on the car. Just hope the body shop isn't ruining it

To be honest mate although they're really rare I'm not that fussed, not when you can get excellent reps that last years without fading. They will be suited to your car though if you're storing it out the sun. I'm just kidding on your profile, I won't be bidding on them. Would like them just to own but that's it
