Well managed to get the headlights fitted saturday lunchtime and gave her a quick clean! Also just found out my Mot's ran out again, im sure this car has one twice as often as my corolla :/ so gotta get it booked in for a new windscreen soon! Pictures of the lights And after a quick clean

Any *e series will bolt in, thats garrenteed Its the electrics that are the problem. The only engine that you can be positive that will be a p and p will be the 98/99 spec n/a uk spec 4efe Corolla's use different ecu's (the plugs are different) so chances are sensors etc are also different. Get another starlet engine and put the inlet etc on that engine. Safest bet

Whats the reason for a swap, just need a new engine? Just get a uk spec n/a engine from a 98/99 model and its just a case of old out new in!

If youre going supercharged you would want the turbo'd engine as its designed for boost with lower comp pistons etc But no its not a plug and play. Bolt in and p&p you might manage a 5efe from the same age as your car but im not 100% sure

It says they used ae92 rear discs and holden commadore (aussie vauxhall vectra but bigger) Rear calipers Maybe these are the same as big engined vectras or omegas? Might be worth a butchers

The rear stub axles are all part of the rear beam, permently fixed. Not like vw's or vauxhalls where you can just shim them up, Ep's would need the stub axle mounting plates cutting off and rewelding or a adjustable fixture making up. I would still like to see a independant rear setup used from the likes of a corolla

Good question, and i have no idea, but with the amount of work put into that car i hardly imagine it would be a massive task for them lol

I was told about corolla t sports having this issue, was told pump it with some mr muscle and leave it 20mins then flush it out. Might get a bit more crud out
