Wears fine for now been 6 months on the tyres I've got atm, however Mine used to scrub on the outside of the n/s front but I've recently raised the car and that sorted it out, i should really get it done as i work next door to sts tyres and they've recently got full geo gear and i can get it done for free, im just too slack lol
-
Haha i literally stuck my coilovers on added "some" camber to the top mounts ALK is set in the middle by eye no measuring there lol had the tracking done and have enjoyed it ever since. Alway said id get a full geo done but until i fit my front most poly bushes im not going to bother as everything will be changed again :/
-
You've done more than me mate and I've had some fun with my mates evo 6! Get out there and enjoy it dude
-
It will be better than it was the rear panard will always change tho depending on whats in the car, i mean if you add yourself thats 70+ kgs plus 35-40 kgs of fuel thats going to move it slightly :/ not by much but a little bit if it was somewhere near then i wouldnt worry
-
Yeah but everybody know's you're a post whore
-
Yeah that seems pretty reasonable then, check what the rest have sugested, plugs, dizzy, leads. Vaccum lines aswel maybe old and perished?
-
I've been on here a few months longer and you've got 10x the posts.... How the f*ck lol
-
Are you n/a or boosted? 240 miles to a full tank is about 34mpg iirc which isnt too bad unless you've an n/a and doing long drives alot, so wouldnt think it was o2 sensor.
-
5 years and 4 months and I've finally reached 1000 posts Wooo go me haha
-
Did you take it off the turbo or the block? Mite be the hose if its old? Only guessing tho, check under the rocker cover see if thats got a reasonable amount of oil in it. Like you said after 40 miles i would have thought you would have heard a bottom end rattle by this point :s

I've just randomly found my old one PM me your number and ill send you some pics mate
-
Shes clean mate! Very nice example
-
Looks good dude, want to do this in the actual boot of mine just to make it look better! How much weight do you think you got out by the way?
-
Or maybe o2 sensor, when cruising its in use but when the throttles presses down it should swtich to pre-set maps but initially its using the o2 sensor reading. Whats your mpg like?
-
Yes i did mate was out for a meal then i thought 10pm was a bit late so ill text you later today when im finally awake properly

They should do, if not then there not very good, my local STS asked if i wanted some specific settings when i told them i was going on track and they usually stick to the books. As for getting the hubs set straight first, it might be a good idea just so everything is straight and aligned in a 100% neutral position.
-
Yeah thestarletgt is some rum weird auzzie fucker i think, watched his videos on youtube earlier and they are comically bad he's stlightly special i think lol
-
i know what u mean by the hub movement, i just pushed both of mine right in (they looked very even) so it had a small amount of camber with the top mounts neutral then just added (im guessing - 1 deg on the topmounts) im yet to have any major alignment doing, just tracking for now. but even like this it handles really well

turbo conversion exhaust? help!!
morgey replied to starletgt.neal's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
From about the bottom of the fire wall back they are the same but anything infront ie visable from the engine bay without the engine in place isn't But ep82 and 91 backbox hangers are different from one another but can be modded to fit each other quite easily Hope that helps -
Ricer But seriously that sounds savage dude i love it, makes me want to go out in it even more!
-
Ahh i see im from watton 20 odd miles south west of it. I wont lie i dont know too much about glanza's and 4eftes i tend to stick to the n/a's myself, but theres definately a good few on here that can help you out ;) So your an ek9 fan then? You no gumbar, ceaser, bon or anyone else from around these parts?
-
Welcome along mate where abouts you from? Theres not too many for naaarfolk but the numbers growing slowly All the best with the motor!
-
Yea any jap hot hatch is a rare sight tbf and in the two car parks at the track entrance, the left hand one is the better as its easier to enter the track from, either ask if there parked or queuing but have been round a few times, and have a lap on a card and offer to pay for the lap as a kind gesture after all your asking them to use and abuse their car, tyres, brakes etc so even if u dont use the lap atleast u have offered to pay for it ;) Oh and have a helmet to hand aswel ;)
-
Could have said it better myself! Hope you have a speedy recovery buh!
