  4. i went through a couple of cheap release bearings fairly quick, within a 100 mile they started knocking. what bearings are you using? i opted for a blueprint one in the end and am upto 500 mile with no noise/knocking so far

  9. im having this issue, its fine no smoke on startup, no smoke driving or coming on boost but if you say do 40mph in 3rd let the revs drop and then touch throttle a big cloud of greyish smoke comes from the exhaust, if i sit revving the car no smoke can be seen from the back of the car and idle shows no smoke either. i dont think its valve seals as you said it doesnt smoke when started up, anyone else have any ideas what it could be?

  12. was around about 100 mile i think before it started wining again, then a few thousand later it was getting a little brave not to change it. never had issues with standard clutches, it must be the extra force required on the pressure plate to open that fucks it up.
  13. i think i have had about 4 release bearings in mine, what manufacturer are you using? i had to bite the bullet and put a blueprint one in that cost over £50 and thats lasted a while up to yet. could also be play in the output shaft that's causing the issue?
  14. if its standard it will be on the left hand side of the fuel rail. small silver looking device with fuel line and vacuum line attached.
  15. could also be fuel pressure regulator failing, it needs to hold pressure when cranking, once started it will run fine... i have had this issue twice before.
  16. got a rocker cover you can have for £20, its usable and purple with a few chips out of it, will need a repaint
  17. under the back seat is the easiest way
  18. Split diaphragm, this won't be helping the other issues, I'd get this swapped and see how it runs after
