  1. The amount of people who get these pipes the wrong way is amusing lol!
  2. Been covered many times mate! They are completely interchangeable, the 82 Gearbox's are believed to be slightly stronger
  3. My solution I sorted yesterday.........
  4. Pro Race 3's ? 2 months old
  5. Carbonetic do all the wilwood pads too
  6. Have you tried bleeding the clutch? Sounds like the clutch might be holding on a bit. If it's a box problem it will usually be hard to get gears when cold but better when it's warmed up. I put a pattern part slave cyl on mine and it would never disengage properly. Would be a pain to get in gear and you could feel it was really notchy. Put a gen one on and it was perfect .
  7. Yeah you can always do what I did and cut it back to the injector loom and just heat shrink the ends of the wires
  8. Could be tappet clearances but more than likely I'd say you haven't set cam sprocket right. The inlet cam gear is split, the larger side drives the cam, the other side of the split gear has a strong spring in which keeps the cams meshed quietly. Did you install the 10mm bolt in the cam pulley before you removed the cams? They sound horrible when they aren't sent right, will run fine though
  9. Just disconnect and tape it up bud
  10. I have the same issue Phil, just rebuilt mine and done the turbo etc at the same time, although I think mine may be even tighter . I've run a gauze before over a td04 and I can't say I was happy when I pulled my intercooler cold side off and it was gritty in the pipe! Fine for keeping out leaves etc but dust is just a free for all. Like you I want the keep my power steering too. Only thought I had is building a mount for the pas pump to bolt where the AC compressor originally lived but not had a chance to get it on the ramp for a look yet.
  11. Same here, WOT and zero road speed is what mine is set up for
  12. No I'm pretty sure it's not a viable option to have it on a switch. All the Link and haltech is no problem for a switch but 99% you can't on the EMU
  13. Don't drop it anymore bud, it's worth that all day long with that plug n play harness
  14. Going on G4+ Storm mate, my mapper is supplying the ECU too so he'll be sorting all the maps out. Thanks though buddy, much appreciated
  15. Right I've borrowed a working manual tps so I can run it in with full sensor functions now until I get the new ECU in and mapped .
  16. Yes mate already got the throttle body and Tps. My mapper said he could use a sr20 Tps if needed, guessing they are prob the same!? Thought I'd make his life a bit easier and get the bolt on throttle body lol! PM'd
  17. Yeah bore washing rich wouldn't happen fella, that's the bonus of having the wideband. If it runs silly rich I'll have a rethink
  18. Ah ok, I can live with rich and have wideband so if it's pegged at 10:1 everywhere I'll have to do something about it. Silly question people but what does the simple ep82 on off style Tps actually affect? It's getting there mate, still lots I want to do but it's my daily too so they can wait lol
  19. Yeah I've got the new body with TPS mate, just after the plug to wire it in
  20. Jut built the forged lump and as I'm going Link management I have an auto throttle body going on. I know the stock manual Tps is virtually just an on and off switch. Discovered a hairline crack in the original throttle body so I'm planning to bolt the auto one straight on. Obviously I have to run it in before I can get the Link fitted and mapped so question is will I be ok granny'ing about with the Tps disconnected to rub it in? Thinking it will be ok as no boost etc will be used!? Here's near finished pics , happy with how it's come out so far
  21. Hi all, after an auto Tps loom and plug so i can wire the new throttle in for the Link management. What have you got
  22. Got this sorted mate, was desperate so took it off and brazed it. Thanks bud
