Hi boys and girls. Just got round to rebuilding my forged 4e. All built, dropped it in and the bastard stat housing has decided to spring a pin hole leak where small hose for the throttle body goes. Must have been thin and where I've disturbed the thing it's shit itself! Need a stat housing ASAP so I can start to run it in, bloody missed it being off the road a few weeks! Cheers

Every SR I've ever worked on has been for a new engine, mate had a 14a with a garret 3076 had it running "safe" around 320hp iirc but it lasted 2 months and then spat a rod. Yeah they suffer from VVT rattle, heard lots rattle but never been asked to correct one lol. For their age you can't gripe at problems but they are just getting a bit sore these days. That's my thoughts anyway

They are in a completely different place, fitted one before. Can't remember if it was 1 or both the hangers needed moving but I had to cut them off and weld back

Had this countless times while out in the GT, so annoying! Don't mind you drive like a twat but don't do it close to me. As you say, yank the handbrake....do a little skid = DRIFT KING!!! Lol

The SR20 engines throw rods for a passion, if you do buy one budget for a forged lump if you want significant power increases. As above Rot is the main issue

I ran an eBay one on my first td04 setup, would stick open and sound like a wet fart at idle lol, only way to get it to close was struggle to get into boost again to give it a nudge lol. I've now been running a Turbosmart for over a year and it's been perfect, would recommend to anyone
