Have a 2e in a boxy here and it starts and runs...but only if I hold the key between on and start once I let the key go it just cuts out... Wiring wasnt touched as car lay up and tried changing the following Carb Dizzy Dizzy cap Condensor Fuel pump Leads Plugs Checked timing and ignition timing .... I'm at a loss here is there any earths or plugs that cause this issue that I may have missed!

Check plugs see if they're whitish/very very light brown it's lean, is there water dripping from your exhaust when it's putting out smoke?

Mc5 Coilovers have a ball joint on bottom all round so definitely don't fit the front maybe the back never tried should have when I had them
