It'll be some of the rubber bushes gone I'd expect I know my brothers knocks when he goes full lock lmao. Didn't get picked up on MOT. So mustn't be critical. ​I can't remember which bushes he said were gone but he did check it out. I know he said his gearbox mount has had it. But I don't think it's that. Some bush near the suspension. Can get polybush replacements from ID workz.

I was thinking more what car/Year and what not. As opposed to ratios. Six speed is very nice. My brothers Type R was six speed and it was always satisfying to bang it in sixth. Although they were exceptionally close ratios. ​ ​That's an awesome conversion and sounds like a sweet replacement. I'm impressed

Yeah I don't really get where you guys are coming from? Yeah it's more lag but that's only in 1st, and 1st has bare torques. If you know how to drive then lag is just a figment of the immagination. Once you're in the powerband there won't be any lag. Bottom end can be recompensated for and at the end of it you will end up with a machine that will have more peak power. The CT9 is a great little turbo. But I find that it spools to quickly, and to drive off boost is merely impractical. So economy driving is non-existent. This is based on the the full 90 mins I've driven my GT LMAO! and the hours I've been in a TD04. Mines CT9 and my bros TD04. Personally I like the CT9 Spool. But the power out of the TD04 is great.

Charlotte MINT cars are overated. I know what it's like to have a MINT vehicle and NEVER again! Constantly worried about every slightest thing. My current ride is high spec, but tatty. It means I can actually go out and enjoy it and not worry about damaging small pieces. Personally I love MINT pristine cars, but I know I'd be reluctant to drive it if it was mint. I think that so long as it looks respectable then I'm satisfied to say its mine, given its flaws. PS goog luck Also you got details of that six speed conversion. That sounds well interesting? You reckon it will be higher spec than that of a standard transmission?? Could it be an affordable replacement.

Surely the tf035 is a good middle ground between ct9 and td04? Yeah just a bit. And You would want to have that rebuilt...I'd never trust a used turbo.

What is the TF turbo? How compatible is it with the CT9/TD04 setups. Naturally would make sense to use off the shelf stuff rather than having a million and one custom jobs done.

That's a tidy motor! Very Clean! Also I know how you feel! I've done that exact trip. Flew into Belfast and took the exact same ferry/route home, only to Gloucestershire so not quite as bad but had work the next day and didn't get in till 05:00 work for 09:00. So yeah know your pain there

Hello Does anyone have for sale the Drivers side Rails that include the ratchet that bolts onto the seat for sale? I don't know how but the previous owner completely destroyed the ratchet and I don't see how I can remove the ratchet from the perfectly working rails in order to fix it. So I need new rails I take it. I can get up photos of the parts I want if that makes it a little easier.

Yeah, and when spun up to 8'000 rpm that imbalance will be noticeable :S Not by me but by the engine itself. ​ ​Yeah I thought those bolts were tapped but I couldn't get anythinbg to thread into it, cause I've got a tool for that. ​ ​Yeah well if you want any advice on that Colin just PM. Unfortunately IT just gets outdated the minute you buy it, but that doesn't mean it's not any good. Should be able to get a nice i5 for around the 400 mark.

​Okay well that's good. Any more tips. Stressing out about this cause this is just more and more money that's being invested in a car I haven't driven yet. So would like to get this engine back together with minimal damage. Replacing bits as I go. ​ ​I'll be sure to give that a go next weekend. Hopefully get it off and sorted.
