Haha! Good lad. What a beaut. Now that's a smoker! Yeah, being pedantic as usual :/ thanks though A lot of work has gone into it so it's nice to get recognition. It's currently in two small boxes awaiting respray and new graphics and colours. I'm thinking Candy red wheels

Aye sure. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=TMRXG7feoEY Not true actually, whilst they aren't mass produced for motorbikes they are still used in jetski and 1200cc two strokes have not yet been replaced. Due to the fact they can be mounted in all sorts of places, without the need for a fuel pump makes them Ideal. But I'm a modder so the fact they aren't around anymore doesn't bother me. This would be my 'wet dream'. http://www.moto.it/static/upl/yam/0071/yamaha-rz500-special---01.jpg Sorry I'm on my phone. And thank you. Although I don't think it's a dt anymore. So much blood sweat and tear

Literally, if you've never ridden before then it's well worth getting a 125 for a years riding experience before you jump onto a bigger bike. I've been riding years, didn't bother with lessons for my test since I've been riding on the road since I was 16. YouTube is a wonderful thing. Someone done Mod1 with a GoPro and it's identical to the real thing. Then Mod2 is literally what you would have been doing for ithat year anyway. Save £££ by just having a year on a bike first and jumping straight into the tests. As people have said a good Motorbike theory app for the mobile is all you will n

Yeah I just read that when ordering some new ones LMAO! Live and learn ey! Great so they all need doing. I do make myself laugh. Anyway, thanks lads.

Quick question...bad idea if I go Stainless Steel exhaust studs?
-
It's okay, I'll grab some when I do I get round to sorting it all out. Won't be for a few months yet.
-
Aye, I would have but the stock nuts have just completely rounded off so I was just rebuild clean with new bolts.
-
Hhhmmm, not good Ben, if that's the case then I bet it's shagged all of the Studs. Aye it was tight, like when using nylocs, I just thought that was the nature of these bolts to stop them rattling loose.
-
Ah ryt, I'll bear that in mind. I think I'm lucky(ish) that the stud has snapped flush to the manifold. So I might get my mate to weld a nut to it and turn it out. And put in a new one. Just gutted to be so close, yet so far. How you getting on with your beast?
-
Nightmare, lol. I'm always cautious about helicoils. It wants to be clocked dead on, something that wants to be done by a professional.
-
Aye, I'll bare that in mind Ol. I've rinsed enough money on this slag this month. Still plenty left, I just don't want to spend anymore on it for now. But I'm sure a PM will come your way in time. This one I will get my mate to do I think. I'm just going to run it to fix my bike and then crack on with this later. Problem is, everything is just a serious tight fit, I can't be bothered to do the work myself at this moment in time, and I sure as hell ain't wasting another head gasket and head bolts, that pissed me RIGHT off lol.

latest run around Evo 4 dead already
Calum122 replied to Glanza-Ben's topic in Other Motors Progress Blogs
Aww mate, at least you have a sense of humor! I'm sorry to hear about the evo. My mate bought a dog of an evo 4 6 months ago. Spent 3K on it to sell it rock bottom price, he knew it was just going to cost him more and more money. Hopefully you get yours all sort. Keep up the jokes as well, if you can't laugh at yourself.... -
Yeah my thoughts exactly. I reckon they could. I probably could, I just wouldn't mind actually driving this car whilst in my ownership. I know what will happen. I've spent the last 6 months just sorting it out. Then I'll finally finish it off, and it'll either get nicked, crashed into or I have to sell it. It was rough when I got it and I took it on as a bit of a project but it was just mis-represented. It was suppose to be a good runner just a little tatty around the edges. And to be fair that was the first mistake I made. Next time, the car has to look mint, but mechanically it can be br

Hhhmm, does that title seem familiar? Oh ryt I posted a similar thread a couple of weeks back about me snapping a camshaft journal bolt. Well I took it to an engine specialist and that's all sorted. It cost me another £100 for gasket, bolts and the work. I was reassembling the rest of the car and I like to just renew everything. With my fresh pot of Stainless Steel nuts and bolts. So I splashed out, £25 for 10 proper exhaust nuts. I thought I was the DB's. Apart from the exhaust nuts were absolutely solid to turn without even touching the manifold. That's okay I thought, that's just how ex

Funny isn't the word I'd use. Even just reading that made my blood boil :@

V Nice. I do prefer the Evo 5. A few of my mates have a had 4's and that are absolutely savage cars. Not as tidy as this one though.

*97* TD04 Glanza... round 2 replacement
Calum122 replied to Ollieh17's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
Mines still buggered. My brother bought one. And he's seen a few GT's about Gloucester way. Mine is still a long way off yet which is annoying me. But I'm sure I'll get there. -
*97* TD04 Glanza... round 2 replacement
Calum122 replied to Ollieh17's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
Ollie that is looking/sounding the tits Excited for you pal. There is another chap I saw the other day in a black glanza down at KFC Cheltenham, nice lad but didn't really know much about what he'd purchased. I think our conversation lasted a whole minute before I realised he wasn't what you might call an enthusiast.... Never mind -
Very smart. Loving the work done to this as well
