  1. See that's not what I read but please go ahead and confirm. I don't understand how it would work, but another member was adamant that that was how he had his setup. Pipe from Actuator T-Piece. One half to the solenoid and then vent to atmosphere. And the other to the turbo. Doesn't make sense to me and I'm sure that would do naff all but cause boost creep!
  2. Aye, which is why people say vent to atmosphere. But it was just incase you were wondering why.
  3. Yeah fair enough. I'm going to reinstall it and then leave it on Hi anyway, it's just nice to know it works. But you've answered the question beautifully though so thanks
  4. But that's what I'm saying though. Why remove it? If it doesn't weigh anything. It's no hardship leaving it in. And you keep the OEM button installed. I'm not arguing, I'm glad that's what you've said. It just doesn't make sense as to why you would remove funcitonality that isn't adverse to performance.
  5. I like Shaun. My Fav (apart from 1) is Tokyo Drift. I know it's utter bollox. But it's Jap thru and thru. Apart from the end. But the cars are better in that one, than the rest put together. IMO. It's a good film, in its own right. Otherwise meh. Still seen it opening night, and again later.
  6. Hi there. I was just wondering why so many people are keen to remove the Hi/Lo boost button from their cars? I understand that if you want to run serious boost, from a standalone EBC or MBC then yeah fine. But my car for example. It's fairly stock. I Don't understand why it was removed? It's got a HKS actuator on it. So surely, set the boost pressure the actuator is going to operate at, which will be your 'lo', then have the solenoid restricting air flow causing it to go into 'Hi'. Am I missing something? Why omit this feature? It's not like you're saving any weight. Starle
  7. The second pipe goes to the solenoid near the intake. This is the solenoid for the 'Hi/Lo' boost button.
  8. I've seen/used worse. If you clean that up with a polishing mop then I bet that will look like new. Then as people say, check to see if it's within tolerances. If it is then it's good to go
  9. Same really, hopefully Japfest, not confirmed yet. Castle combe isn't very far so will probably go.
  10. I doubt that, given the DT is 15 and they are much faster. I always say to people, where did you measure that? The fuel tap. Doesn't matter, I'm a two stroke snob! I think the R125's are GORGEOUS! Love the allow wheel design, shame they're quite skinny. But they are lovely. The plastic colours are gorgeous and they are superb spec. I think dual pot calipers on the front? I'm running RS brakes on my bike which means 4 pot front and dual rears. But the stocks are single pots. Plus isn't the R125 USD? But great bikes, just the minimum should be a 250 four stroke or 125 two stroke for
  11. If you're going to go to a big bike straight after then a CG125 is more than enough. Cheap, reliable and lets you get the basics down. My old Aprilia RS125 >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GobIl4e-mU8 That thing would be good for over a ton. Topped out about 110 at 13500 rpm. And it got there ridiculously fast, for a 125. Sorry but today's 125's are pathetic. IMO, like todays cars. The Starlets of yesterday are far superior to the Yaris's today. That's my opinion though. Whilst the YZF125 looks the dogs dangleys, they're just gutless with about 11 bhp. That said, perfect bik
  12. That's brilliant. A little late to the party on this one but I do have a soft spot for the kei class cars
  13. Hiya, After a working, Hi/Lo Boost solenoid for my car if anyones got one they're will to sell PM me
  14. Aye, next level fun. Different league of bikes though. They're great bikes, but ultimately gutless. As much as I love my 125, they are gutless in comparison. The 125 4 stroke scene is even worse. I agree with lowering the law when there were bikes like 250 smokers you could ride without a license. Since I know of a 250 2 stroke that measures 70 bhp at the crank, that's more than a 400 sports bike four stroke! 1998 Yamaha TZ250. Savage machines. Although they only have about 1000 rpms of usable power and it's about 12'000 rpms high, so not what you would call practical. I would be more
  15. Lol. It's different that's for sure
  16. I'm going to buy the collection on Blu Ray when the 7th is released. I went to the cinema thursday, the night before it was released, and watched 6 then 7 at 00:00 release day. It's no longer about street racing. Some fun facts that make me appreciate 7 even more though. The scene where they ditch the cars out the plane, was real. They actually done that. In fact a few of the crazy stunts were actually real. So in terms of achievements, it's good Just no a F&F IMO
  17. Just seen this for the first time now. But apparently it was on the DVD which I never owned. But it explains what happens at the end of the 1st one and the beginning of the second one. Some of the comments are funny as well. https://youtu.be/NmZ5JrO4xdU >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmZ5JrO4xdU
  18. Can't believe how much progress is made in such a short space of time.
  19. That's wrapped? Very good mate. I know it's only a photo but still looks good. I'd pay that for a wrap, at least when you get bored you can peel it off
  20. That is an interesting choice of colour for a mx5.
  21. Some lovely cars there. Much love for the RX7's here. I will own one one day! My favourite inspiration car was posted But here's a few others... In this months Banzai.
  22. Quick postage for a bargain item. Very pleased, hides away a lot of mess so I'm pleased Looks the part.
  23. Yeah, wasn't too impressed with the TZR gearing so I will be switching back to a standard DTR box. >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1t4iepv0l1Q For a DTR it is fairly quick, but I've ridden quicker. But, with me having a license, if I wanted something savage I would go out and buy one. It was just a fun project, nothing too serious. So I hear, the TDR 250 is one THE BEST handling bikes ever made. There is a guy on the forum I moderate who absolutely swears by it. He has had many many bikes, maybe in the hundreds, mostly DT's, but he swears that he will never sell his TDR 250.
  24. Yes there are. Aprilia rs125 rims and brakes. Yamaha 450f forks. Yamaha TZR125R 4DL engine with full standalone ecu and power commander. Along with fat bars and asv levers. Shes had a lot spent on her. Yeah i love the dtx wheels. They are sick. I just wanted something different from anyone else, until Reiju released a bike with my wheels as factory! Annoyed much. I know what you mean about idiots on the road. But I commute as its easier and cheaper. And ride slowly and defensive. But i agree. It's scary. Nice slow bike like the dtr fulfils the bike craving. I've never been about speed, jus
