  1. Gutted Mine was mint before I tried removing it Live and learn. But if it's not the end of the world then I won't worry. Also just a thought. Could you rob the Power steering one? I mean I presume it's just the crank pulley that's the dampener,.
  2. My car is stock atm and will be for the next 12 at least, but eventually I want to run more power so bit of a waste of money. Cheers though. Also any luck finding a PC yet Colin?
  3. Yeah just read that. I'll give it a miss then. Also read that a few other people have chips in theirs so I won't worry too much. Just see how i get on removing it and if I have too much trouble I'll source another one.
  4. Has anyone had any experience with these Aluminum Pulleys? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221430633403?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT There isn't much bad reviews on his feedback and none regarding these items. I just don't want to fit it only for it to bend and have to take it all apart again. And I've damaged my crank pulley so need a replacement and thought of these.
  5. Anyway now I know that the job should be a piece of cake
  6. Scrapped!
  7. You'll need to specify GT or Glanza.
  8. You'll need to modify the power steering bracket for a sandwich plate. I wrote a tut on that if you go down that route.
  9. Aww okay, awesome appreciate that.
  10. I'm glad I'm not alone in ditching FaceAche. But I've literally replaced Social sites for forums. At least with forums I'm looking at something that interests me rather than what someone had for tea....
  11. Awesome cheers Iddy. Also those indiglos you sent me are lovely And got some Engine mounts which are very nice too! So thanks.
  12. Can't believe you couldn't even give it away for this p[rice
  13. So tight to get a G clamp in there. I tried putting two penny washers either side and then a bolt through the middle and tighten but it just bent the washers lol. ] I may have a G clamp somewhere so may give that a go.
  14. Who's installed ID-Workz (skate board) bearings to their gear linkage? I'm really struggling it's a seriously tight fit and awkward to get to. Can some buddy give me some pointers to make this job easier? It doesn't feel like it should be a hard job but I'm struggling massively and would appreciate some help.
  15. Yep just finished doing that at 17:45 so literally twenty minutes after reading this thread. I did two slits opposite each other then took a decent size flat head screw driver and hammered it into one of the slots that I made and voila it just fell out. So thanks you've just saved me HOURS of labour
  16. Amazing. Can a Mod rename this thread to make it easier to find. And add tags, I didn't look very hard but it could have been easily missed. I'll give this a go and see how I personally get on.
  17. Wow this has been for sale for a year now! Do you ever think it's not priced to sell?
  18. Running Pioneer Tweeters under my dash.
  19. Yeah, the car that redefined what it meant to drive a two seater. It's thanks to the MX5 why two seater roadsters took off again.
  20. Welcome. Good choice in car My dad has a BBR Turbo Mk1 MX5
  21. Amazing! Your car sounds like something off of Gran Turismo And I love those short interior GoPro shots. Very short, sweet and watchable. Love the progress to this build, I like the fact you work hard at this goal. It looks like it pays off Look forward to seeing more vids and snaps
  22. OH MY GOD! HOW DID I MISS THIS AT JAPFEST! That is well annoying! Need to see this in real life haha!
  23. Absolutely love the paint work on this! Envious. I always find there are not enough hours in the day to master all the techniques I want out of life Have to find one and specialise but I want them all :S
  24. Very smart. I do like Evos (more than scoobys)
  25. Ah never mate. My Grandad said the same thing to me. I didn't have room for my car (parents kicking off) my Grandad was like nah be okay store it on my drive. Luckily I managed to keep it at my yard but it's nice to have that option there if I need to. Shame about the MG though, was never a fan of them but appreciate it's a run around. What was the outcome in the end?
