    tf035 wanted

What is the TF turbo? How compatible is it with the CT9/TD04 setups. Naturally would make sense to use off the shelf stuff rather than having a million and one custom jobs done.
  2. That's a tidy motor! Very Clean! Also I know how you feel! I've done that exact trip. Flew into Belfast and took the exact same ferry/route home, only to Gloucestershire so not quite as bad but had work the next day and didn't get in till 05:00 work for 09:00. So yeah know your pain there
  3. Hello Does anyone have for sale the Drivers side Rails that include the ratchet that bolts onto the seat for sale? I don't know how but the previous owner completely destroyed the ratchet and I don't see how I can remove the ratchet from the perfectly working rails in order to fix it. So I need new rails I take it. I can get up photos of the parts I want if that makes it a little easier.
  4. Yeah, and when spun up to 8'000 rpm that imbalance will be noticeable :S Not by me but by the engine itself. Yeah I thought those bolts were tapped but I couldn't get anythinbg to thread into it, cause I've got a tool for that. Yeah well if you want any advice on that Colin just PM. Unfortunately IT just gets outdated the minute you buy it, but that doesn't mean it's not any good. Should be able to get a nice i5 for around the 400 mark.
  5. Right fair enough I'll give that ago this weekend
  6. Okay well that's good. Any more tips. Stressing out about this cause this is just more and more money that's being invested in a car I haven't driven yet. So would like to get this engine back together with minimal damage. Replacing bits as I go. I'll be sure to give that a go next weekend. Hopefully get it off and sorted.
  7. Lol my Brother worked for Clarkson Evans, lol some of the stories would make you laugh
  8. Gutted Mine was mint before I tried removing it Live and learn. But if it's not the end of the world then I won't worry. Also just a thought. Could you rob the Power steering one? I mean I presume it's just the crank pulley that's the dampener,.
  9. My car is stock atm and will be for the next 12 at least, but eventually I want to run more power so bit of a waste of money. Cheers though. Also any luck finding a PC yet Colin?
  10. Yeah just read that. I'll give it a miss then. Also read that a few other people have chips in theirs so I won't worry too much. Just see how i get on removing it and if I have too much trouble I'll source another one.
  11. Has anyone had any experience with these Aluminum Pulleys? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221430633403?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT There isn't much bad reviews on his feedback and none regarding these items. I just don't want to fit it only for it to bend and have to take it all apart again. And I've damaged my crank pulley so need a replacement and thought of these.
  12. Anyway now I know that the job should be a piece of cake
  13. You'll need to specify GT or Glanza.
  14. You'll need to modify the power steering bracket for a sandwich plate. I wrote a tut on that if you go down that route.
  15. I'm glad I'm not alone in ditching FaceAche. But I've literally replaced Social sites for forums. At least with forums I'm looking at something that interests me rather than what someone had for tea....
  16. Awesome cheers Iddy. Also those indiglos you sent me are lovely And got some Engine mounts which are very nice too! So thanks.
  17. Can't believe you couldn't even give it away for this p[rice
  18. So tight to get a G clamp in there. I tried putting two penny washers either side and then a bolt through the middle and tighten but it just bent the washers lol. ] I may have a G clamp somewhere so may give that a go.
  19. Who's installed ID-Workz (skate board) bearings to their gear linkage? I'm really struggling it's a seriously tight fit and awkward to get to. Can some buddy give me some pointers to make this job easier? It doesn't feel like it should be a hard job but I'm struggling massively and would appreciate some help.
  20. Yep just finished doing that at 17:45 so literally twenty minutes after reading this thread. I did two slits opposite each other then took a decent size flat head screw driver and hammered it into one of the slots that I made and voila it just fell out. So thanks you've just saved me HOURS of labour
  21. Amazing. Can a Mod rename this thread to make it easier to find. And add tags, I didn't look very hard but it could have been easily missed. I'll give this a go and see how I personally get on.
  22. Wow this has been for sale for a year now! Do you ever think it's not priced to sell?
  23. Running Pioneer Tweeters under my dash.
