Another great project Sam and a rare find I've always been intrigued by these there's an elderly woman in my village who has as immaculate j plate in white still on the unmarked wheel trims it certainly turns heads
-
imagine how many just got scrapped with them in mate
-
just had another look and the yaris got the same chequer plate pattern on it
-
I'd say the hard plastic is the UK version because we have one in the Yaris and it's got the same feel to the material
-

When my sills get cut open next month il post some pics up I'm in same boat my outers are gone full length inside but only look like it's first 6 inch from the outside , I've no doubts inners will want some attention aswell
-
Update ...work on the SR was put back a little as the bodyshop decided they didn't want to be doing bits then leaving it a while so instead they are doing everything in one hit pics will be coming very very shortly can't wait to have it back so in mean time I've bought an old OEM head unit in mint condition with cassette player reason behind this is so I can listen to music on my phone via a cassette aux cable with a 3.5mm jack older members will remember them well plan is to remove the din blanking plate and mount it below the Toyota cd player and somehow wire them together via a double lo

Great write up trav also worth noting they may look absolutely perfect from the outside but inside tells a different story -
Seen this in the flesh this week can honestly say jases attention to detail is something else and how the hell he got that interior so clean is beyond me this car will be a massive credit to him once he finishes it
-
Really can't wait to see it myself with such a lack of options for the NA will be very unique
