My Forged 5e 4wd Ep85 - anyone after an ep85??
Bean replied to Bean's topic in EP85/EP95 4WD Progress Blogs
had a few little problems since i got it back on the road. it wouldnt boot over .97 bar and it was loosing the spark. After hooking up the laptop to the dta it was obvious the crank sensor was causing problems. so i swapped that and the coil pack and new plugs and its away again 1.55 bar. the bolts on the throttle body seemed to all come loose too which was a bit strange so ive tightened them up with some lock tight on them. i just took my girl friend out in it for the first time in about 2 years... she said she wont be getting back in and she went straight to the fridge and opened a bottl -
yep most of the power goes to the front. when theres a speed difference between the front and rear axles this causes the viscous coupling to transfer more of the power to the rear.

i just got shot of my iridums and put in some ngk plugs for the cosworths and gapped them to .65 seems to run smoother now.

just had the car out to put the boost back to what it should be, as i had some old fuel in the car from last year and it looks like my boost solenoid has packed in! so it will only run wastegate pressure (.9 bar) no point putting on the dyno now gutted. -

a guy my friend knows was selling parts on the clio sport forum. he was taking poeples money and not sending the parts out. he was arrested last weekend for this. If you guys are owed parts or money i wouldn't think twice about going to your local police station with some info printed off showing your payment to CJP.

Mine wants to go on the dyno too please. (4wd) -
i think that when theres a bit more power going through them it feels like theres more grip. on the ct9 i thought it was shite but on the td04l it seemed like there was much more grip. not sure about now mind lol. going up hill in the rain they just dig in at the back getting the power down with the fronts spinning lol.

that centre section looks very squashed between the 2 silencers?

yeah the lift has a motor which moves the pads that the wheels sit on so the whole car gets shook from left to right so you can really check all the bushes and suspension components for wear. not been far in it yet but it was spinning the wheels in second and i had it just running .9 bar lol. -

Well i thought i better get a move on with this ready for the meet at tuning developments. took it for its mot earlier and it passed. got a decent price on the insurance too on a classic policy. just need to tax it and im sorted. this is one of the shaker lifts, i hadn't seen one until recently, very strange watching your car getting wobbled about on a lift! -
