I Have an EP82 sump and oil pick up here - Sumps and oil strainers are different between EP82 and EP91. As long as they are paired, they will fit on any 4EFTE

You could try running a 12v feed from the battery and see if it cranks properly. Just a loose wire running outside the car. Also clean the earth connection if it's traceable.

That's odd mate. The car was running, all be it on 3 cylinders so I should hope the pump is OK.
