  1. If you've already tried a 5 tonne press then this suggestion may not be valid. Last time I struggled, I used an old clutch release fork as a ball joint splitter and it fitted and worked a treat. Maybe worth a try.

    Clear reverse scoop

Sorry for the lack of response, I'll reply now!!
  3. Good work mate. About time! I have an engine lift if you need a loan?
  4. I have a drivers side glass. Pm me if interested.
  5. I'm hoping to get a batch made soon if you can wait a few weeks.

    Slimline fan

I have mounting kits in stock. Pm me if interested.
  7. I tried to improve the stiffness of the strut top bracket by closing the end and welding along 2 flanges. Also increased clearance from the abs pipes/ brake pipes running among the strut tower.
  8. I'd prefer to say improved rather than copied.
  9. Welcome mate. Nice motor with some nice mods! Hope to see it in the flesh soon!
  10. I have an rs200 as my daily just now. Picked it up cheap so couldn't say no. It's no match for a 200 brake starlet but its a very comfortable car. The power band is high up the rev range so getting there is slow. Loots of gear changes required to keep in the power. Best thing about it is the rwd and potential for drifting! Reliable engine which can handle half a bar of boost on stock internals. Plenty of turbo and supercharger kits available but pricey. Id recommend a proper test drive where you can use the revs. plenty of info on tezzaworld do have a look.
  11. I'm developing a banking plate for the aperture of a normal bonnet scoop. Have a look here />http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=50475
  12. Tel number is eastbourne. Far to far for me!
  13. Oil from the dump valve normally means turbo seals are on their last legs. Any blue smoke at all? Take the hot pipe off the turbo and check for oil. Clean Out the intercooler pipes and see if oil returns. The breather had no relation to air con. You can leave it open to atmosphere no prob it get a catch can plumbed in.
  14. From memory I think they bolt on. The last time I removed one, both nuts sheared due to corrosion.
  15. If I still lived in Derry I'd buy it for a run around On the other hand, if any one else wants it, I could send a relative to check it out for you
  16. Try tezzsaworld mate. Lots of Lexus owners and seems a friendly forum. Not as much traffic as here but good.
  17. Around town I'm getting around 17 to 19mpg which is poor for a NA. On Motorways it gets close to 30.
  18. Keeping my eyes out for a nice set of JDM rims. Most likely in black. My shopping list is ever growing but need to resist temptations and get all the niggles sorted. I'm happy with the back end (minus a stainless exhaust) but needs a replacement front bumper and front fogs.
  19. My latest purchase is to blame for my lack of appearance on here recently. Picked up a 1998 Altezza RS200 Yamaha Beams 6-speed manual at the start of November. I wasn't intending on buying one but couldn't resist at the price! Only mods to date are a Blitz SUS induction kit and aftermarket clutch with billet flywheel. Not quite a minter but has potential.... So far I've replaced the in tank fuel filter, plugs, thermostat and power steering pump. More recently the bugger developed a leak in the rad core so had to hunt around for a replacement. Need to get it on a rolling road to see if its
  20. They had an SR which I got the TTE exhaust and spoiler off years ago. They have a few UK spect 91s hidden up the back and that's about all I've seen in there. It's a nightmare to find anything as every row is stacked 2 or 3 high.
  21. As above. They know me now and expect a good haggle. Think they got the starlet in just for me not knowing I no longer had one. I saw a few gauges hanging off the dash which should be OK.
  22. Alright men. Was down at a local scrappy last week end and after years of having no GTs or Glanzas, this arrives.... Just thought I'd let you know in case any local boys are looking for parts. It's down at Jap Auto parts on Helen street, Ibrox. I'm sure I've seen the car before but it's been in a fair old smash! Standard CT9 set up by the looks of it. Some free advertising for ID-Workz!
  23. Martin bought my gt and it was broken 3 months later. Was pretty annoyed but what can you do. I lent him my standard ecu a few months back and I'm still waiting in its return. Plenty of apologies but little action in dealing with the return.
