  1. Looking good Pete, time for the turbo conversion though
  2. Yes a little progress, been held up a little as I've moved house again and had another little baby girl not long ago so been pretty tied up. I did sort out a cold start and rev issue that it had been having. When I changed the loom over from the front cut its an early model 96 Glanza and the engine is from a later model so a few plugs were different. One of the temp sensors wasn't plugged in so I ordered the correct one and plugged it in. Starts straight up now when cold but still breaks down on boost, could be a fuel issue or that is only has the dump pipe. Also, removed all the
  3. This one ended up being scrapped and all the bits went on this one http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/99108-sog33k-ep91-glanza-rep/ Over NSW in the Blue mountains mate!
  4. Looking good so far, will be a million times better when its lowered.
  5. Awesome buy mate I was so tempted to grab this one. If I didn't already have my one I would have snapped it up. Can't wait to see it all kitted up. Are you on the starlet Australia fb group?
  6. Its coming along slowly still, mostly been tidying up the engine bay and getting the radiator and all hoses etc connected up. I've got all the front guards, bonnet, bar, lights etc all removed ready for the Glanza bits to go on. Also cut out the rear floor that was damaged, just have a little bit more work to do to fit the replacement floor I have. The damaged rail on the left has been cut out, just need to get the rail cut out of my parts car ready to put in this one. My daughter decided she wanted to help me she think this one is going to be painted pink lo
  7. Rear lip looks good, nice idea with the rear strut brace.
  8. Wheels look good man. You getting them on soon or going to wait till its painted? Go with some semi slicks
  9. Looks nice and clean there but that tailgate looks like shit. Never liked that look, there is a a cars in Aus that have that and it ruins the look IMO
  10. You're pretty lucky there wasnt a whole lot more damage, pretty easy to fix it and get it back on the road.
  11. Looks good man, will come up a treat once it's all painted
  12. Thanks mate. If I had some more cash there is a white Starlet in town with only 15k on the clock for sale. Even better to start with
  13. Excellent news! more money for mods now Hurry up and get it repaired and turboed.
  14. Picked up some Glanza fold in mirrors the other day, much cleaner than the standard ones. Just need to get hold of some door transfer cables. I can't find any Glanza ones but have found some EP82 GT ones that I will make work as I also need to wire up for power windows, central locking and speakers.
  15. 98 front with Glanza S bonnet I know, can't wait for it to be done. Indeed it will. Nothing over the top and nice and clean. Will be going TD04 and e85 eventually.
  16. Nice pickup on the SR, shame about selling your other one though it would have been pretty well the same as mine.
  17. Im after the following: Front door wiring for mirrors 4 spoke steering wheel airbag Let me know what you have Mark
  18. No way man, hopefully you can salvage it. The rear floor pan can be unstitched easily enough I'm doing mine after it was rear ended. Hopefully yours isn't too bad.
  19. Finally got around to putting the dash back in it, just have to strip the rest of the interior and change the rear loom and modify the steering column so that the indicator/wiper stalks fit as the early model units don't fit Also changed over all the dash lights to white LED, will grab another pic later tonight when it's dark. Changed over the speedo and cleaned the cluster up and re-installed. Slowly getting there, most of the conversion is complete and it's just body work that has to be done now.
  20. Yes it will be staying 6P2. 🖕
  21. My old blue one is looking pretty sorry for itself lol
  22. Engine is in and finally running I had some issues with the wiring as the Glanza half cut is a 96 model and mine is a 99. Luckily I have a few complete cars and was able to strip the full harness from one and was then able to plug in the fuel pump and get it going. Also had to find an early model Glanza steering wheel and airbag as mine is electronic airbag and the Glanza one is mechanical apparently, luckily there was one on eBay which I promptly bought . Once I got it going I quickly bled the clutch and gave it a quick run around the property, still have to put the radiator and inter
