Here's one for the exhaust nuts...
Driver replied to Ashley-starlet's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
In your original post all you mention is "Is this helping acceleration, or not? Simple as that" so forgive me for thinking your only reason for asking is for performance, simple as that. -
Dirty engine bay but my old starlet mani.

With a turbo you want the least restriction as possible so 3" would be a massive benefit however on a 1.3 N/A I would say even 2" would be on the upper scale. 1.75" would be preferable under 100ft/lb Are you sure the full system is 3-3.5" and not just the exit to the box ? Either way if you really want to waste time trying to gain decent power from an N/A 1.3 then I really wouldn't go any bigger than 1.75" -

Looking like it is going to be a pretty one Is the NoPro Cappuccino bottle kit from Rev9 ? -
If it dips lower than 11.5 at WOT then it is a bit rich. On run down it should really error out or show really lean is 19/20 Idle should be exactly or as close to 14.7 as humanly possible.

For some reason UKSO won't let me quote your 1st post Davehart but to quote 2 words in there "Cheap" and "Japspeed" There is your problems. 1, cheap. Buy cheap, buy twice. We all know this to be true. 2, Japspeed. Well that one just answers itself !

An old women ran in to me on a roundabout in my civic insured with Sky. Called Sky who said they don't deal with it, spoke to the insurance company (as sky are just a broker) who said sky deal with it .... a bit of arguing later and they finally passed it on to a separate company who deal with claims. They wouldn't argue it for me when I said I wanted to take it to court and wouldn't accept a 50:50 settlement and said I would have to pay any court fees then claim them back from the other side. Then when i Eventually accepted the 50:50 resolution (I had repaired the car and sold it on by this t

Until someone runs into you, then forget it. Useless pricks.

I think the fact you ran a td04 unmapped will of caused it to run lean and Det. This increases your cylinder pressures by shitloads (something like 10x IIRC) and will of blown it out. When will people learn that the most important part of a setup is the map ! Starting to think it's mot worth telling people any more.

From how you are describing it, it sounds like fuel cut but it could also be knocking its tits off too depending on boost you are running etc. Tuning would be top of the list to be honest pal. If you are tuning yourself get to it and you can always make tweaks if you make any changes. If you are paying someone else to tune it I would say get it all right and get it tuned. Don't take short cuts to save money with tuning, it is the be all and end all of the final setup and if you run it untuned it could to irreparable damage to your engine.

Mine said GL on v5 but when I initially insure it I just said it is a Glanza V and the imported has registered it wrong wso they asked for a photocopy of the logbook and just insured it as a V.
