  1. Yes I do - have a 5mb version, just keeping it low for sake of browsing. What resolution would you like it to be?
  2. Yeah those guys are leaning on their setups pretty hard My old setup was a 16v big port 4agze from an AW11 and ran up 265hp at the wheels on 16psi with the turbo only just coming into efficiency - wasn't really being pushed at all. This setup is quite alot different being a worked 20v head and built bottom end so should produce a bit more power at the same boost - I'm hoping the power comes in quite alot earlier. The aim is to eventually lean on this engine pretty hard as I've got another engine I can piece together as a spare. Plenty of guys over here push 300+kw at the wheels - there's a
  3. So you can check out the blog (link is in signature below) for the write up but here's a few photos.
  4. Pic less update for now - have welded up the inlet runners to plenum plate and also the plenum cover. Will be drilling and fitting the injector bosses this week all going well and then welding on the throttle body plate. Have also mounted the coils - just need to modify the leads to suit. Will slam some photos up a bit later
  5. Yep, have opened them up for conversions before
  6. Its been a while since I've worked on a EP91 but on EP82's and EP71's regardless of turbo or not its on the under side of the throttle body. Has water lines to it and two vac lines from the power steering.
  7. You can convert the carby 2e's to EFI but its quite alot of work. You obviously need all the EFI gear (loom, ecu, inlet manifold, injectors, coil, ignitor, ballast resistors, fuel tank with intank pump, fuel lines (however you can dodgy up the carb lines to work). The injector bosses in the head are filled so you need to open them up.
  8. For thin panel steel a mig is probably better as it doesn't push so much heat into the steel and you can spot weld quite easily. Not sure what you guys have over there in the way of for sale websites but you should be able to pick up a small machine fairly cheaply. Avoid gasless welding like the plague and I'd suggest using Argoshield gas which will give you a nicer weld than CO2 but is slightly more expensive. Those disposable bottles are ok for really small work but dissapear very quickly if your laying down longer welds that require more flow - probably best to get a small D size bottle
  9. Will do! Have been working on a mates 5efte setting up the coil on plug ignition and a few other bits and pieces. Have the inlet plenum tacked together on mine now, will likely weld it up in the next week or so - works pretty crazy so spare time is minimal.
  10. If its hunting then its more than likely the idle up bypass under the throttle body. Its very common for them to get gunked up which causes the revving up/revving down cycle. Pull the unit off and give it a really good clean. Also make sure the water lines are clear. Will pay to keep a track of what line goes where, pretty easy to plumb the water line into a vac line by mistake.
  11. If you've got a EP82 engine loom you can cut and splice into the EP91 loom to make this work - I've done it a couple of times now
  12. Ah haha I'm not suggesting I make them (postage wouldn't be worth it) but you guys can make them yourself pretty easy
  13. I cut weld adjusters into the middle of the stock units
  14. Inovate units are very very good and I've had no complaints in the 7-8 years I've been using them for.
  15. Thanks guys. Yes the engine bay shot was in POTM for September I think - night shot I only took last week while mucking around. And yes I'm on TGTT but hardly ever post. I'll put up some inlet manifold photos in the next week or so - have rolled the plenum cover now, just need to trim to size then weld it all up. The exhaust side is pretty much complete, just the boost controller to mount and an air intake to finalise.
  16. Haha, will have more soon, have been busy building the inlet manifold lately. Yeah its 4agte - this is version 2.0, the old version was pretty good but this should be quite alot better (here's hoping)
  17. Didn't realise this section existed till today so here's a couple of pics to get the ball rolling. Hoping to have the new setup running prior to Christmas. More photos and details on the blog and the full write up is on the NZ Starlet Club site
  18. Looks great! Whats the width and offset your running?
  19. Yep your right. As long as the wire isn't cut this should be fine (Unless of course the Blitz Power Meter has a input and output wire for speed signal).
  20. Try that pin but use the wire from the dash and not the ecu side
