  1. aye and if your gonna lean to drift by an mx5 with some under bonnet grunt and an lsd, they are wicked rwd cars and cheap on parts, ae86 is a car that demands alot of money spent when things go wrong and 200sx's are shitty rust boxes!!!
  2. dont get willwoods they are crazy money, ae111 twin pots and yellow stuff pads! = WIN im totaly in love with my new brakes, stop very very well but not to much force on the front over the rear so the rear isnt becoming overly light and twitchy :rtfm: oh and your attention to detail puts me to shame! soooooooooooo clean, im loving your build dude
  3. you say that now, my cars getting mapped monday, and if i get a chance before fest ill come down and take you for that spin i promised you you wont think twice about an ae86 then you WILL defo want boost haha
  4. Lookin tidy dude. I love your bumber
  5. Cars lookin sweet dan now put your kit on though and start saving for boost!!
  6. A MEN dude, every nut and bolt BUILT NOT BOUGHT!
  7. Aye steve dastek looking at building a standalone but thats for another time. Cheers lads. Just dropped her of for mot so fingers crossed makes all the hard work worth it, amazing what you can build on your mates drive way haha. And socks it dosnt spit oil tbf, its been forged for 3yrs and covered a lil over 10k miles, had a catch can once but got fed up of how clutterd it made the bay look for no benifit. Yours is looking mighty fine atm i see though Cheers john the fmic and pipes is one of my fav bits
  8. They 15" compmotives? I actual love thoese wheels, just not on your gt. Should post them to me as a present for my v
  9. Fixed the speedo, and finaly sorted out the ebc wires and conected it up nice and tidy, fixed the boost leak on the intercooler pipes (thanks to grant pointing out the stupidly loose clamp lmao) then took it for a run up and down the road to cheak its fixed no real boosting or drives till mot is done! Sucks!!!
  10. Lol, cheers bud has taken a few re-works to end up like that but is defo the best I've had it lookin befor. Ill get some decent pics up when I've cleaned the car properly Few more crappy phone pics
  11. Argh damn you all im over the mrs now. Id of been up for hanging out. Cant wait till the v is on the road end of the week. Will be bugin you all the time to come out n play haha
  12. Cheers dude. Ta for sortin me out that vac line to set the ebc up. Ill get some ordered this week. Cant wait for ace meet now. Will be good to put some miles back on her!
  13. Cheers dude. Sorting that boost leak has turned it savage!! Bring on 1.4bar map!!!! Lol.
  14. Think its like 4.7kg the whole kit built weighs 8.9 i think it was ill confirm with grant as we where weighing mine and his blitz but they are actualy identical lol. You have to use the ORC fly thouh, wich is a shame as the jun was a hell of alot lighter
  15. Lmao, na not the smile stick just anywhere lower than neck line for a start lol
  16. Cheers lads. And yea marc the noise is nuts, lol soon as you put your foot down n dis-engage it you hear the plate moving its wicked. And tbh it just wants to spin up and launch lol its crazy. But the clutch just takes it, no issue atall. And its not even bedded in yet lol.
  17. Yea they arnt a cheap set up dude, thats why sanchez's is such a bargin. The rebuild kit is cheapest from rhd and cost me around £360, so you just re use the fly and preassure cover and replace the disc and preassure ring. They seriously are mental dude! Check my build thread theres a pic of the orc kit fitted to my car. £350 for a 1000 mile old (might be less) is a steal!
  18. Could think of far better places to let some one love bite me than my neck you need to work on these girls body geography with them dude!!
  19. Ok let me put it this way, I've tried a fair share of paddles most are shite tbh. The ORC is the best I've used yet, due to the shear claping force on it. At the end of the day 250hp in three years of life for a paddle is wicked! Paddles arnt suposed to be for a daily drive. Im on my third clutch in 3years and around 11,000 miles haha you want to run more power and paddles you pay the price, life span of a paddle is short. The orc seems to do damn well compared to any other. Also lew the blitz active and orc are exactly the same. You want realy long life and insane clamp force get an OS Giken
  20. Mines in now, and its sick!!!! Thing its for £300 you get a full rebuild kit so it lives on forever realy, other paddle sets are £300+ anyway so you only pay £500 odd once then get rebuild kits when it dies for the same price as other kits, oh plus the fact that its an insanly awesome clutch!!! Buy sanchez's asap its a bargin for 350 and will handle big power easy.
  21. Fuck that buy sanchez's ORC just had a 309 kit fitted to mine yesterday, fuck me they are the tits mate!!!! Had exeedy paddle, n cap paddle, but clutchs like them dont last realy, the clamp force on the orc is sick! You need one dude trust me
  22. Well been ages since an update so, off to turbo_grant's work for the clutch fitting. Once we had the car on the ramps gearbox off etc we realised i didnt have the clutch release bearing for the ORC clutch, as it dosnt come in the rebuild kit! So grant the legend gave me his new bearing from his blitz active clutch kit that he had owened for all of a day!! To get me going, so will be ordering a new blitz bearing for grant from fensport. Old jun fly wheel out (is off to the new owner this week) Sad to see it go tbh, is a silly light fly New ORC kit in Is an insame clutch!! Car just wants
  23. That will b forged v, they came on rich's car when he bought it and we have been after oem ones for ages!
