  1. Took to much kerb... But i would love to see you racing drivers correct it ;)
  2. Like the idea but it wont work well as a strut bar.. The suspension force is always trying to come through the top of the strut, hence the reason strut bars are on the top. they work against the opposite side. (Like a ARB) Where your bar wont work against anything as its below the strut tops. As for the material, bigger isnt always better. ;) Good effort though.
  3. Do your bushes at the same time as the clutch? Make life easy.. A vice to put the bushes in? Why? Powerflex will go in with your hands.
  4. Big name standalone on a street car is like using a sledgehammer to hammer in a wee nail. Launch control and anti lag is what i see people on about all the time on here, ask yourself this do you need it on a street car? Or do you need it becuase you cant drive. Or just because it will look cool down the local car park? Remember the map is only as good as the squidgy bit behind the monitor ;) BUT saying the PFC is old etc is utter shite. Still does the job for over 95% of owners cars over the internet.
  5. Best car there, the Napier-Bentley
  6. If the tables are all set to Zero then it will run off the stock ECU. There are other settings that need adsjusted to make it fire up though. Easy to do.
  7. Make up brackets Fro. Ill fire you a picture later when i get in of mine.
  8. Pop down to Meercat in Kilbirnie and Wullie will make you a quiet box.
  9. Got a head here. No cams though.
  10. TD04 will be fine. Remember though just because you have 4wd, doesnt mean to say you will be fast.
  11. You should pass the static test no problem. I pass them all the time with a full 3" system at the racing. 96db rings a bell Remember not to snap at the throttle though or it will spike the meter, roll on and off the throttle gently ;) The drive by ou shouldnt have a problem either. Bungs are a waste of time, mabey help with noise but could and can wreck your motor. To much back pressure involved. As for the revs, tell them your limited to 6k and go 2/3'ds of that ;) (even tape up the rev counter so you can only see up to there
  12. Im not saying there is not a power gain, im saying the air speed will be slowed down.. Quick scenrio blow through your lips if you were whistling, and have your hand 6" away then try it with your mouth open and see the diffirence. Simple stuff this. Regardless of N/A vs F/I, same principle applies. If adding a bigger throttle body was as easy, everybody would be running 100mm plus would they not ;) Ever thought why they dont...
  13. Bigger the area to fill (bigger butterfly) the slower the air speed gets.
  14. No it wont. The air speed needs to be kept up not slowed down. ;) Just have a little think about it. But aftermarket manifolds are only really needed when the stock item become restrivctive, which is out of most peoples reach power wise.
  15. When are they likely to be removed? Im needing a pair asap Rory
  16. As above, looking for a pair of shafts for my 95 GT. What have you. Cheers Rory
  17. An AFR of 13 would be fine on a N/A motor, certainly not on a F/I motor. Standard or forged motor?
  18. Silver quadlight is John Leoper and ive no idea about the EP91, although i did see it on Friday afternoon
  19. About time somebody else seen sense and moved the bottom rad hose to where it should be. ;)
  20. Good stuff. Your in my area lol. Im slap bang in the middle of Montrose and Arbroath.
  21. Where in Angus you from? I recognize the Vicky Park in a couple of pictures earlier in the thread..
