Gunk In My Oil Catch Cat And Around It
rorenapier replied to Russleh's topic in 4E-FTE Engine Discussions
Its possible you have ringland damage on one of the pistons. Only real way to find out is to rip out the engine and whip the pistons out. A compression test will not always show up ringland damage. -
Gunk In My Oil Catch Cat And Around It

About time somebody answered with some sense. ;) When was the last time you emptied the can? Does the car still drive the same. It has nothing to do with a headgasket going, but it is possibly the engine breathing heavy. OR The can is just needing emptied. -
I run the alloy Civic rad, and im yet to have an issue with cooling, even on track.
-
Suspension and tyres me thinks. Also slow reaction times dont help!
-
Shut it Sparkler. ;)

Had motor bikes scince i was 4, then had field cars etc before i could drive legally. Raced mountain bikes for years also. Family has been a big insparation though with my old man and uncle racing years ago also, along with numerous cousins doing motocross. I enjoy going fast really, and being in the competitive spirit. Anything with wheels, and im happy you could say.

Yep. You will have to grind the power steering bracket to make it fit. Common practice on these cars!
-
Will work fine for pressure gauges, but not so good for temp gauges.
-
Which water bottle are you reffering to? Radiator over flow tank or the windscreen water bottle? And what car?
-
Your clutch is on its way out, or the crank seal is gubbed and letting oil onto the clutch disc
-
With out Even if there carbon, ive never been a fan of adding "tat" to cars. Eyebrows included!
-
I have a slight suspicion that the Banzai day is around that date.... July would be better.
-
Im pretty sure they will fit. If you are on TGTT, Pm "HYBRID" he retails in these and will let you know
-
Yes, it will fit without issues. Where was the fuel coming from on the japspped one? Duid you use PTFE tape on the threads, and was it plumbed in properly?

Never had a problem with creep, i restricted the exhaust a tad, still made the same power. I have a dyno plot of mine somewhere, it held a bar until 6500 rpm, and that was only the HKS actuator controlling anything. Boost curve? A CT9 boost curve looks like a brick wall when it comes in
