I had an induction kit on my old N/A, without a cold air feed, didn't notice any loss in power. It made a fucking great noise though.

Got myself one of these the other night.

What was the spec of the engine before it went pop?

Big rims? What are you on about? 14 inch are good if you want a smaller wheel, 15 inch are perfect for Starlets. The main reason for using bigger wheels (the standard ones are only 13 inch) is so you can use wider and better tyres. Have a look at some pictures on here, you'll see that 15 inch look fine, it's not as if you're fitting silly 17 inch wheels. As for the over steering, one of my Starlets "snap oversteered" on me twice, my setup was uprated shocks, lowering springs, Toyo Proxes T1R tyres on the front and mismatched shit tyres on the back. Both times happened in the wet, which I put

I'd go as far as saying you aren't going to feel much anyway you might notice a slight difference after doing the air filter/exhaust but all these other little things will only make very very minor differences that you wont notice.

Someone ring him up and say their nan is interested in his car.

Hahaha he needs a good kicking, what a cunt, Glanza headlights and some stickers and it's a replica? Haha! And the best one: Corolla racing inlet manifold.

PORSCHE PLANS THREE-CYLINDER BOXSTER
ste91 replied to B11G KY's topic in News & General Announcements
5 cylinders are supposedly smoother but of course take up more space. Straight sixes are where it's at, they are inheritantly smooth and sound amazing! Shame they've pretty much phased out now and most use V6's instead. -
go to 44 seconds - 5 stud SR Speedlines?

PORSCHE PLANS THREE-CYLINDER BOXSTER

It'll be shit. -
First and most important is tyres, get some nice 14/15 inch alloys and stick some good rubber on them! Then consider other mods, but unless you plan on upgrading to a Glanza/GT/4EFTE conversion then I wouldn't go too mad.

I had one because my mate shouted "BANG" out the window and scared someone. Complete and utter bollocks, it's as if anyone can just make something up and report you.

How would you compare the sidewall stiffness T1R vs Rainsport 2?
-
I'm not too sure mate to be honest as it's going to be a while yet until I need some new rubber (probably summer 2011). I have a few in mind: Toyo Proxes R1R - these are supposed to be a compromise between the T1R and R888. Uniroyal Rainsport 2 - not tried these before, every comment on them that I've seen has been positive, but likewise I can't seem to find them. Hankook RS2 - not sure on these but they seem to be decent? When I first used Toyo T1S/T1R I thought they were amazing (195/45/15) but 50 profiles I'm not so sure on. They don't feel anywhere near as good, my old Starlet felt a

I've always used camskill for Toyo Proxes (cheap as chips 195/50/15's) but am considering a better/more expensive tyre next time I need a set.

LOL mate what the fuck is that mold doing there. ;) As for the front end, it looks beasty how it is in those pics (apart from missing the air filter)! Would be nice if you could get the car ready for summer 2011.

LOL!! Agreed, N/A can be fun but the E series wasn't made for it. If you want to stay N/A then drop a 4AGE in there. The 4AGE swap should be popular, much more potential than the E series. But it's just so much easier to go for a Honda if you want N/A, not to mention a better chassis. Save your money and wait until you can 4EFTE it.

What a crock of shit. EDL should be let loose in their homes.

If the soldiers of WW1/WW2 could see the state of the country now, they probably wouldn't have bothered. It would be funny if a truck full of British soldiers turned up and just machine gunned the fucking lot of them cunts.

The officer made it worse really, tbh I reckon he just wanted to give his bike a bit of stick.

EP91 - no EP82 - yes

Not sure if this counts as low enough but I like it, just able useable for daily driving, could go much lower but already have to avoid speed bumps.

I can see why you're upset mate, everyone loves a bit of 17 year old pussy. lol R.I.P
