For the effort it would take to fit a 4AFE you may aswell use a 4AGE, even if it's an early 16v, way more tuning potential than a 4EFE/5EFE/4AFE. If you want to go down the N/A route the 4AGE is the way forward IMO. But the 4EFTE is still the best option when you weigh everything up.

what i will be rolling in when the EP is off the road

Is the chassis straight? -
Nobody loves you.

T1R's are obviously more performance orientated than the CF1's but I got my dad some CF1's for his Rover (lol) and they're pretty good. They seem to have a lot of positive reviews aswell. I'm a fan of Toyo's so I say go for them.

Aslong as it's got some heatproofing on and is smooth then I don't think it matters too much what you make it out of. Probably easier to mount it to the bonnet and then have a rubber seal around the box so that it seals when the bonnet closes.
-
I've thought about this before, in theory it should work well, you could modify the standard airbox for it aswell.

Send them one back... Dear Adrian Flux We all hope that we will never open an envelope containing anthrax... Damn just noticed you said email.

Just look at the pics of those pistons and rods above... 13:1 is pretty high compression! What's this engine supposed to rev to?

Fucking hilarious "UGLY CUNT" hahahaha! -
You sure only 140? There's a similar vid on youtube of an old 1.3 Micra with 160bhp on those FCR carbs.
-
I have to agree with Rubix on some of this, people get caught up in peak power figures, power to weight ratios, etc etc... without looking at the overall power curve of the engine, gearing, or anything else. Starlets are definately impressive and for the small running costs and simplicity they are great. But some people need to take their blinkers off.

Feeling sick just reading the replies in this thread, fuck am I clicking any of those links. -
Only playing mate. You should do some "cheap" sun roof bungs and front lips for the CRX (although I'm sure I'd rip the lip off within a week lol).
-
If it's sold by Idrees it's fake, fucking cheapskate knock-off bastard.
-
This is the best one.
-
Yeah Novas are called Corsas in other parts of the world (Corsa A). And then the car we know as the Corsa (93-2000) is the Corsa B.
-
I would call it cool but those rear tyres are far to skinny for that!
-
Might aswell just get a Whiteline one. Or find a scrapped Glanza and take it off that.
-
Just get GReddy E-Manage Blue (or Ultimate if you can afford it) and don't bother with anything else.
-
Will be completely fine, but what width are the wheels? Aslong as they're wide enough for 195 width tyres then it'll be fine.
-
Mate you're just making yourself look immature/stupid to be honest. Who cares what some Saxo owners think, it's a Saxo site, of course they're going to say Saxos are better. All you're doing by signing up and posting that is making Starlet owners look silly.

[UNANSWERED QUESTION] How to raise a ep91 bonnet
ste91 replied to starlet1.3si's topic in Tutorials & Guides
Don't bother, it doesn't provide any cooling at all (unless the car is sat still). -
Skylines and Starlets are in totally different leagues, I wouldn't even bother comparing them in anything other than a straight line. Fair enough there will be Starlets that could beat Skylines but as an overall car they're totally different.
-
Fucking LOL at the replays of them closing their doors from different angles.
-
Don't waste money on that shit, get a proper piggyback ECU.
