Enzo has given some proper sound advice mate, but also when you say 'Lag' how much we talking about? moving from the stock tmic to a fmic there is going to be a slight change as the pipe route is alot longer. full boost should come in by 3.5k... my hybrid was producing full boost before 3.5k but as Enzo said an EBC helps loooads!! can bring up the gain, control the wastage much more efficiently and you wont believe the difference with one fitted over just an actuator! boost wont drop of as much with an EBC either

  3. when you say stainless steel one off ebay i hope you haven't gone and got yourself an autoFAIL autobanh mani? if it's a Jperformance then you will be fine mate, if you happen to have got the autofail mani i would just bin it. the slightly larger diameter pipe work wont have any effect bud as the less restrictive design will make up the flow
  4. mate thats some super nice work!... realy like the little details like the indicators, thats what makes a car. keep them updates a coming dude, will be wicked to see it up and running on the road again ...boost rules all! haha
  5. blue smoke is burning oil, so if you are 100% you got the pcv valve fitted correctly it could be the oil seals on the turbo that are going... is it only when you come onto boost you get blue smoke?
  6. I would not put a tow bar on a glanza that will put massive stress on the little 1.3 engine and the turbo will be working double time! you could do it but i would worry quite alot about oil temp and pressure.

I only use tesco super as thats the only close to me, used in my 170bhp glanza and now my 300bhp mr2 with no problems what so ever. but was on way home the other day and had to stop at a shell as my red light came on, so currently have shell V power and tbh there is no difference whats so ever lol
  8. was just about to say Nick does a wicked fast road package that would suit your needs thats what i would go with, wouldn't trust ebay tbh.
  9. just more boost really, but the ct9 will become inefficient so next to get more power would be a bigger turbo and possible injectors dependant on the turbo.

  11. could well the the fuel pump... if its weak it wont be pushing enough through. mine has a bit of a dodgy fuel pump and sometimes cuts out and just turns over. if i leave it for a minute or two and crank it over again it's usually fine. just double check all the connections are all good with the leads and king lead to the coilpack aswell
  12. ahh nice! i was going to subscribe to the mr2only mag being a mr2 owner myself . good to see interest in these little cars as there are some epic projects out there... some lie quite and you don't here much of the progress but others (like on here) there are massive project builds and show the whole progression. there are some amazing builds on here... any of Enzo's builds, SiCaln, Nanglebadger the list goes on lol
  13. dodgy gauge, fcd somewhere... or a very funky remapped ecu from japland. my mates glanza had an original ecu that had been remapped back in japan, but obviously that is very unlikely on a completely stock V.
  14. I understand man, to many cars in the world to limit yourself to one... just be prepared to not get the same economy to power haha. dont think you will find such a small low litre car with the same kick. good luck with the new project dude
  15. what boost? i take it around 1 bar... my guess would be about 180bhp

Well as the title suggests i might have to put my MR2 up for sale got pulled for speeding the other night on the motor way and think i will receive a 6 month ban!... got clocked through a whole junction doing between 95 and 108 but it was 12:30 and the motor way was dead all i was doing was cruising at 80 then this car came up my arse so i moved over, it followed me so i moved lanes again it still followed me, kinda making me a bit agitated i sped up a bit this must have been the recorded 108 then all of a sudden some blue lights came on from it... shhhhit lol. was fucked from then on reall
  20. Think it originy said in the rules that photo's shouldn't be overly photo shoped... Little things like contrast/brightness etc are ok Don't no what it says now but personaly I wouldn't just slap a photo in just using one filter (but I got pounded on in my art foundation for doing such things ) original looks much better IMO

  23. i'm with Paul on this one BUT... think an mr2 would be alot better pftt GT4 *even though there basicallyy the same car* nah mate it's up to you, as above i loved my glanza to bits but rwd is tooo awesome! plus its so much more luxurious! but again i think it would be an awfull shame for you to not see such an epic project out... you might change your mind once it's all in and mapped up
