they are normailly placed between the intercooler and the inlet manifold. reason being that the pressure can be released faster out of the system when its closer to the inlet manifold. (and its easier to fit there)

depends on what someone is willing to pay for them and the condition of it. seen one go recently on ebay for 137+delivery, but also have seen one go for £200+ i would say £110-150

i got the same prob as asad. it just keep slipping off after a while, especially when you use the tension release lever. i would like to see pictures of how people have installed theirs to see if mine is the same.

yes you can use your n/a gearbox on the gt engine, but you will still need a starlet turbo clutch and flywheel on the engine. you can use your existing slave cylinder and gear selector cable ect..... you will also need manual starlet turbo ECU and loom and other bits and bobs to complete the conversion.

Do OEM ARB arch bush brackets fit Whiteline ARB?
5T4R7ET N/A replied to Amjad's topic in Chassis & Suspension
pretty sure they fit under the original bracket. they are suppose to be exactly same size as standard. -
welcome .

with that type of damage i would inspect the whole engine. check to see if it's even worth rebiulding tbh, its one of the worst failures i have seen in a while. goodluck with it, will be awesome when completed.

Where can I get a performance manifold for a 5efe?
5T4R7ET N/A replied to Browner's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
one of the ports is 100% oxygen sensor (lambda sensor), and the other might be a temperature sensor, not 100% sure on that on temp sensor. ask someone who has 5efe they might be able to help you on second one. -

you should get this one, its more shiny http://www.ebay.com/itm/OBX-Exhaust-Headers-95-98-Toyota-Tercel-1-5L-5EFE-NEW-/150787033844?hash=item231b9b8af4&item=150787033844&pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr -
the back end only comes out on my starlet if i turn in hard and lift off, otherwise its more understeery and very predictable. you could of hit a bump? or braked hard before turning in ( unbalancing car)

put a vid up mate, sounds like clutch slip they way its being described.

Anyone manage to get 200+Miles from the first half of the tank?
5T4R7ET N/A replied to Asad's topic in Off Topic
Asad with £25 your only getting around 17litres of petrol with todays prices. your getting 52-53MPG. thats good!! -
to get 0 on 3rd it most likely is valves, either that or someone forgot to put a piston back in
-
If i was you i would just wait until you got everything you need for the setup. managment, boost controller, adjustable actuator, half radiator..... the lot. i have seen people do it the rrfpr way, but its a gamble. if you get it wrong thats your engine gone.

you could also go paseo dials, just wire swapping involved, no soldering.
