i use mobil Super S, which is a semi-synthetic oil. halfords sometimes do deals on Mobil oils so you might be able to pick it up cheaper. around £20. at the moment its too expensive, but keep a look out, they replaced with a new name but its the same stuff. Mobil Super 2000

that is mint. retro looks with proper modern engine. Can u tell me how much it set you back to get the engine in and running?

well when the car is fully warmed up the air/fuel ratio should be 14.7 on idle. when accelerating this will change, depending on if your on/off boost. cold start = 12.8:1 - 13.5:1 acceleration = 11.6 - 12.3:1 deceleration = 16.2:1 - 17.6:1 light acceleration = 13.7:1 - 15.2:1 hope that helps

ohh my god!! Starlet learner car!!
5T4R7ET N/A replied to The Toffinator's topic in Lifestyle General
yeh seen one, only for a while though. it was a maroon (dark red) GLS, proper mint as well. he was only using because his other car broke down ( polo 09), guess he needed something more reliable to give lessons in. -
the only thing you can do is use high temperature spray. its stick pretty good, so makes a nice seal to stop moisture getting on the metal. would use black only though, other colour dont look so good.
-
dont know why but starlet are targeted hard nowadays, always get some idiots looking inside and shit, pisses me off. hope you get it sorted cheap, someone on here might be able to help

have you checked your slave cylinder? it is pulling the release leaver all the way back? -
normally you can get a sandwich plate that will be able to hold two sensors. oil temp and oil pressure. so you will have to get right sandwich plate to make the two gauges work. i dont know what size thread the apexi sensors use but im sure you can find out

this used to happen to my starlet, its weird because it only happens at that speed in 4th gear. i don't think it's a misfire. i changed the engine mounts on mine to power-flex ones and felt like it went, but there is a lot more vibration with these mounts so could have just been that its less noticeable.

welcome. seen your glanza on tgtt, looks mint. when it comes to the front mount intercooler, if you plan it out properly there shouldnt be too much cutting needed
