First one of the year! http://circuit-days.co.uk/event_info.asp?id=540 I can get it for £130, if you'd like to book then give me a shout before you do.
It's on the front of the block just behind the down-pipe, the sender is massive you can't miss it. It's the one pointing upwards, I have the remote T-Piece someone linked above, but had to replace the BSPT adapter from memory as it wasn't tapered enough.
I used loom tape, looks ok. I wanted to remove all the plugs and sheaf it using the braided stuff, but figured for something that isn't seen it's not worth the risk of wiring up something the wrong way and introducing a short.
The pin was there, not sure if it was torqued up, one of the few parts of the car I haven't touched, it is now! Maybe that was it? Going to have a proper look around it before it's next outing anyway, thanks for the suggestions.
Anyone experienced this? Got to lunch time yesterday at Cadwell and I had some bearing noise, sure enough there was play. Before I called it a day I figured I'd try and nip the hub nut up, I did and the noise/play disappeared.
Anything 4 X 100 with an offset around 30 will go on. Mine were off a polo, one of the wheels is a little bruised but they all appear to be round, and as they're track wheels that's all that matters. I might give them a lick of paint at some point to tidy them up. Look ok too.
Loads of stuff on ebay! Just takes some searching out, I just picked up a set of OZ SuperTourismos with tyres for £90. I didn't need the tyres, so hope to get some money back from them. I just searched 15 wheels, listed by distance and only showed used ones. Lots of tat but also lots of decent stuff there too.
